Posted: 26 Sep 2019 09:27 AM PDT I've been on the public beta of iPadOS and was super excited for the official release because I assumed a lot of the bugs would be fixed, especially How buggy the small keyboard is. Very disappointed to find it's just as bad as it was on public beta 1. I really like using slide over for messaging apps, primarily iMessage, Line, and Discord but even in iMessage which is a native app the keyboard floats around on its own I try to type, becomes immovable, vanishes entirely, and the bar where the text goes moves up and down and covers recent texts. Anyone else struggling with this? I love the small keyboard, especially with swipe typing but it can be so frustrating. [link] [comments]

Floating keyboard seems pretty broken Posted: 26 Sep 2019 06:35 AM PDT This place is turning into a bug report help desk since 13.1 was released, so sorry for adding to it but I'd love to know if anyone else is seeing the same things. Using the floating keyboard on a 3rd gen 12.9:
Docking the keyboard fixes all of the above. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Sep 2019 10:31 AM PDT Now we have iPadOS and we can actually use our iPad to their full potential is there any kind of lightning hub with card reader and usb so I can connect a camera to my iPad Air or plug an sd card? I know I could buy a couple of dedicated dongles but I'd like to have just one thing around. Thanks [link] [comments]

How is iPadOS 13.1 on iPad 6th Gen? Posted: 26 Sep 2019 10:21 AM PDT I haven't seen any reviews yet on the 6th gen iPad. I use my iPad for school , mainly notability, and was wondering if it was good to update yet considering bugs and all since it just released. Also how is the battery life and performance compared to IOS 12? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Sep 2019 01:24 PM PDT What're some good external drives that aren't ridiculously expensive that work for the iPad? Looking to put my iPad photos on to it as well as take videos from my PS4 and edit them on my iPad thanks everyone [link] [comments]
Will the new entry level iPad work as an art tablet when paired with a MacBook Pro? Posted: 26 Sep 2019 09:36 AM PDT Title. I'm rocking an iPad Air 2 and it's really showing its age. I'm a photographer and need a tablet to edit with pressure sensitive brushes, ever since my Wacom stopped being compatible with my 2017 MacBook Pro. Will the new entry level iPad work as a tablet for my needs with Photoshop like a Wacom would? I know the feature is either existing or coming in the next Mac OS update, I just want to make sure this iPad will work with it. [link] [comments]

iPad for artist and how much GB is good Posted: 26 Sep 2019 09:03 AM PDT Hey guys! I gonna buy an iPad Pro this year focusing in drawing and art. Do you guys think a model with 64 GB is good enough or should be one with 256 GB? Thanks for the help :D [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Sep 2019 05:49 AM PDT What the title says. I know the new update allows us to mount drives and import files, but I was wondering if I could also upload my local music to iPad and have it synced to the cloud. Thanks! [link] [comments]
I got the Magic Trackpad 2 working with iPad OS, but... Posted: 26 Sep 2019 01:32 PM PDT Like others I wanted to see if I could get my Magic Trackpad 2 paired with and working with my iPad running iPad OS 13.1. Unfortunately this device doesn't pair like a typical bluetooth device, you need to plug it in by a USB cable to pair it with a Mac. Like others I tried a Lightning-to-USB cable adapter with a USB-to-lightning cable, since no one seems to make a Lightning-to-lightning cable. Just for kicks I ordered this Lightning-to-USB adapter cable, plugged in a USB-to-lightning cable that I've used before and.. Surprise, it worked! Sorta. With a big caveat. With AssitiveTouch turned on, as soon as it's connected you will get the cursor on screen. Touching the pad and sliding moves the cursor around as expected, taps even work as expected. It even shows up under Connected Devices. But it doesn't pair! As soon as you unplug the Trackpad the device disappears and isn't recognized any longer. Disappointing. Hopefully Apple will support it in the future. [link] [comments]

iPadOS Reminders not syncing with MacOS, and other To-Do options? Posted: 26 Sep 2019 07:16 AM PDT I am thinking of using the Reminders app more with the new updates, but the lists on my iPad aren't syncing with my Mac after updating to iPadOS 13. Any work arounds or do we have to wait for Catalina? There are other to-do apps that appear to be more powerful (I think Microsoft has one, and there's Things 3). Any pros and cons with those before I completely buy into an eco-system? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Is Any Other iPad Air 2's Not Downloading iPadOS? Posted: 26 Sep 2019 12:15 PM PDT I've tried restarting a few times but after it asks to remove apps temporarily the download button circles for a bit and just turns blue again. [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Sep 2019 07:11 AM PDT My current battery life on my iPad Pro 11 inch is 9 hours of screen on time. Is this good or bad? Just checking. [link] [comments] |
