| Posted: 02 Sep 2019 12:00 PM PDT I used to use a DJ app called Mixmeister on my PC a long time ago which I enjoyed to make mixtapes with. Unlike a conventional DJ app, Mixmeister allowed you to manually sync and mix songs at the waveform level for precise "non-live" DJ set creation. Meaning, you didn't mix while playing the tracks live, rather you placed the tracks on a timeline and nudged and manipulated the mix much like you would in a non-linear video editor. You could take all the time you needed and come back to it at any time to build an epic mix. I wonder, is there such a DJ app available for iOS? I found the iDJ app online which is based on Mixmeister, but it's not sold where I live which is America. Any help is appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏻 [link] [comments]  | ||
| Ipad 9.7 in slowly losing palm rejection Posted: 02 Sep 2019 01:46 PM PDT So I started noticing that my iPad is responding to my pink finger when I write. I hold my pencil in the lateral quadrupod position so the side of my pink knuckle touches the screen and before it wasn't a problem but slowly the iPad starting picking it up to the point where the page moves while I'm trying to write. I've tried both the built in notes up and Goodnotes and the same shifting of the page or it will also randomly select the text brining up the options menu with copy, deject, etc. The zoom isn't on in accessibility and I've tried a hard reset. Is this a problem with the apple pencil or the iPad? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Has anyone tried the Adonit Note? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:30 AM PDT I'm note sure if I should get the Adonit Note or the Logitech Crayon for my 6th gen iPad. I need a stylus for drawing, but I don't need pressure sensitivity or tilt recognition. I need a comfortable stylus that will last. I heard the Adonit Note is lightweight, but I'm concerned how comfortable it would be having the power button near the the top of the pencil. As for the Crayon, I'm not sure the carpenter pencil design would be comfortable after long term use. Are there other cheap stylus on the market? Should I wait for new styluses to be released? I use my iPad almost exclusively to do law school readings and just discovered the Liner app, which allows you to highlight an article and then export the highlighted text to Evernote. This has the potential to save me a lot of time, but I'm wondering if there's a better alternative that I'm missing. I'm looking for an app that: - Allows you to highlight, and then export only the highlighted text (in text - not an image/etc) - Only requires a single export step for each article/PDF - I don't want to have to hit "export" after every sentence that I highlight - Works with PDFs - Liner only works on "articles," not downloaded PDFs. This is fine for the most part as I can access my readings through a web browser, but it'd be nice to be able to download the PDFs and then just access them directly through the app. This is the key improvement I'm looking for. We used the same adapter and thumb drive i use on mine, but her iPad won't display the the thumb drive. It does detect that the adapter is connected (top right icon when plugged in). I tried to restore an iPad Air 2 that my school gave me to use through the year. It uses a Filewave MDM config profile. I tried restoring through iTunes from a backup from an older iPhone (X, maybe) and everything was going smooth, until I updated my iPad to iOS 12.4.1 and I went to set it up and it got stuck on the "Remote Management" page. | iPad Pro Smart Keyboard: middle pin won't pop up. Posted: 01 Sep 2019 04:07 PM PDT I have a 9.7 Pro with the Smart Keyboard and I've been having connectivity issues that have progressively gotten worse. Now it won't connect at all. In reading about this issue and potential fixes, I discovered that the middle of the three pins on the keyboard itself is depressed and unable to connect to the middle connector on the iPad. The only fix I could find suggested is to push on the other pins to make the middle one pop up again. This didn't work at all for me--the side pins don't seem to depress at all and the middle pin is still almost flush with the rubber/magnet strip. Has anyone else had this problem and discovered a solution? I'm about ready to junk the "Smart" keyboard and just get some sort of standing case and a Bluetooth keyboard. [link] [comments]  |
