    Please try Sayonara Wild Hearts

I just got arcade and this game is blowing me away. Extremely creative and has a hit soundtrack. If you have arcade give it a shot! It's my favorite iOS game yet.

Looking for games like Farmville, or Forge of Empires, where you can manage a farm or city every day for a bit, any recommendation?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2019 04:30 AM PDT

I am looking for games like old times, where you logged in for a few minutes every day to manage your bar, city, farm etc. It was like a tamagotchi, it grew and had progress while not playing.

I've tried Hay Day for example, and it made me stop playing because "you have to find this 1 item or you cannot progress, but hey spend diamonds to find it" it was a loop, I couldnt harvest because of full silo, but couldn't upgrade silo because you have to find an item from harvesting to upgrade... any games NOT like this? F2P is fine, but not like this

I am not looking for TheoTown, Stardew Valley, etc, because I know them, I lovethem, but you have to keep playing to get progress.

    Old ninja game

    Posted: 29 Sep 2019 10:02 AM PDT

There was a game I had on my iPod several years ago that was about ninjas. You would have to basic ones and more rare ones, and it played similarly to monster legends in the manor of how it took real time in order for your ninjas to be created or combined. The art was somewhat cartoony and they were all 2D. I don't remember much else but if anybody knows what I'm talking about, or even tell me the name of the game please do.

    Future of Arcade

    Posted: 29 Sep 2019 04:21 AM PDT

So I am really into some games in Arcade. But I am wondering how the future looks like of Arcade.

Mostly to do with updates. What incentive is there for developers to update their game? With traditional games it made sense to keep updating as with new players they get more money. But arcade games are free, no IaP and no ads. How do they get money? Is there any incentive to keep updating games for them? I'm hoping Apple has made a good implementation that updates are worth it for them!

Suggestions for a gacha-style game without the anime graphics?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 09:04 PM PDT

While I enjoy Dead Cells, Hyperlight Drifter and all those 'premium singleplayer experiences', sometimes I just want to waste time with a gacha, sue me. Could someone please recommend a game (if any exist):

    • with the usual time-wasting/collecting gacha mechanics (i.e. doesn't have to be a traditional gacha)
    • without anime graphics (never been a fan, and I know this disqualifies 99% of gacha games currently)
    • that plays vertically (optional but highly preferred)
    • and which features PVP (or at least asynchronous PVP)

    Cheers!

How to start projection: first light on apple TV?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 08:58 PM PDT

I have a ridiculous problem. We are trying out apple arcade and cannot get Projection: First Light for progress fast the first screen. Is shows a butterfly fading in and out and doesn't go anywhere else. I've tried using the remote and a controller and nothing makes it go any farther. We've tried waiting for something to happen on its own, but after several minutes, nothing. remove and reinstall? Didn't help.

How are you supposed to play this game?

Help finding a game I used to play? Wizard battle online

    Posted: 29 Sep 2019 02:43 AM PDT

I forget the name exactly and I've tried searching "wizard battle online pvp dual" etc. basically it's a 6 player all vs all side scroller where you each control a wizard that shoots magic bolts and whatnot, jumping around attacking other players. You would rank up and earn better spells. It was incredibly fun but I can't find it! Anyone know?

The official trailer for Takoway, a perspective puzzle game (Screenshot Saturday)

Hey guys so can I “cast” or play iOS games onto my tv with chrome cast? I see instructions online for mirroring but they were a year ago and the instructions don’t apply to the Google Home app now.

Looking for a specific type of business sim

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 02:21 PM PDT

I'm looking for something along the lines of businessgame.be, where you own a business and can make the products yourself (for instance, have free farms that make wood that you can take to a sawmill, and then make furniture etc out of the lumber). I haven't really been able to find anything like that so I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions.

Any advice on getting an Xbox One controller on the cheap?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 08:41 PM PDT

Sorry for the cheapskate question, but I keep a relatively low budget for this type of thing and can't quite justify dropping $47 on it. I've checked my local Facebook Marketplace and on Craigslist, but pickings are real slim on both.

Is eBay my only real option? Always feel like I'm gonna get burned buying from there.

Hoping you guys have any tips or other places I should be looking. Thanks!

How do I family share Apple Arcade without sharing payment options?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 02:15 PM PDT

I'd like to share my Apple Arcade subscription with my brother but it seems like if I do that all purchases made on the App Store will be funneled through me... which I don't want. Is there any way around this?

And I would have have issues sharing my sub if he's in a different country?
