Location services goes "on" a few times per hour after updating to iOS 13.1 Posted: 26 Sep 2019 05:05 AM PDT Ive usually have good eye on everything on my phone and which apps uses the location services etc, but since i updated to 13.1 my phone gets the location service arrow at the status bar a few times per hour. I did NOT have this problem when was on iOS 12 so this must have something to do with iOS 13. Even if i turn OFF everything under location services, the arrow in the status bar pops up a few times per hour. Does anyone know what could cause the location services to be turned on even tho i have set it to off? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Sep 2019 05:24 AM PDT So, upgraded to 13.1 yesterday to try out the new Shortcut automations. I set up a couple based on location, i.e. when I get to a work, turn on Do Not Disturb. When I got to work this morning, I got a notification from Shortcuts saying this can now be triggered and I could tap Run to make it work - this isn't really automation as I still have to do something? Is this how it should work? Or should it be automatic? If someone could clarify, that would be great. [link] [comments]
iOS 13 Notifications - Jacked up Posted: 26 Sep 2019 05:19 AM PDT Anyone else having issues with notifications for apps in iOS 13? They work perfectly for some, and not at all for others [link] [comments]
New iPhone 11 Pro unable to check for software updates Posted: 26 Sep 2019 06:47 AM PDT As the title says, I get this error every time I try to check for an update in settings. Brand new iPhone. Tried restarting and even changing DNS. Otherwise connects just fine, even iCloud backups work fine. https://i.imgur.com/4LxsFk7.jpg I'd appreciate any help. EDIT: fixed it by updating it through iTunes [link] [comments]
Did iOS change the way sound is handled? Posted: 25 Sep 2019 10:55 PM PDT Earlier, I'd be able to control the volume of the lock screen with my ringer volume. Is it now the media volume that controls the lock screen volume? I have my buttons set up so that I control ringer with volume buttons. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Sep 2019 05:35 AM PDT I was fine for iOS13, but iOS13.1 made me lose majority of banner notifications. I use my phone for work and it's been super inconvenient. I've been missing a lot of important messages due to this. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Sep 2019 09:10 AM PDT Since I have upgraded to iOS 13, the infotainment system in my car will not change the song. I can scroll through the list of songs, but whenever I click the song I want it just continues playing the same song. However, if I plug my phone in and scroll the list of songs through Apple Car Play it works fine. Is anyone else experiencing this and has anyone been able to find a fix? If it matters, 2018 Audi S3. Posted: 26 Sep 2019 09:04 AM PDT I keep on hitting "open in new window" in Safari instead of "open in new tab". Then I have this obnoxious pseudo-window that sometimes wants to snap to the side of the screen and sometimes wants to float over everything else, and no close widget anywhere in sight. Does anyone know how to close these damn things? I've looked in the ios13 manual and there's no mention of this. SOMETIMES they show up as a second Safari if I double-tap the home button, and I can swipe them away. Sometimes. Other times they don't. It's really maddening. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Sep 2019 08:39 AM PDT Any suggestions? This is the second time that this has happened and I just dont know what to do. It just importing a few of them. I have windows 10. Used to work perfectly. Thank you! [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Sep 2019 08:35 AM PDT I can set a time range for my sleeping hours, but is there a way to configure another separate time range for my working hours? I know I can just turn it on manually but I'm just curious. [link] [comments]
Search field through out native and 3rd party apps on iOS Posted: 26 Sep 2019 08:35 AM PDT Why don't we have a gesture to invoke search fields within iOS apps. Take settings app for example. The search is up there but you have to invoke reachability and then tap the search to bring up the keyboard. Why is it not a pull down and release to do so? [link] [comments]
[iOS 13.1] Apple Pay barely working Posted: 26 Sep 2019 08:31 AM PDT Since iOS 13 Apple Pay seems to have ultra low range. The usual places I pay at suddenly barely work. Most of the times Wallet screen doesn't even show up, but my iPhone 8 Plus recognizes the reader because it wakes the screen up and asks for Touch ID to unlock. Even when the screen does pop up on its own it still doesn't want to process the NFC payment. I'm 100% sure it's the OS fault because I didn't have any case on it, it was as close to the reader as possible and it worked flawlessly on iOS 12.4.1. I also tried just tapping my card and it worked from further away than my phone even wakes up the screen. [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Sep 2019 07:59 AM PDT hey folks. The title is explaining the meaning of this post. I'm running iOS 13 in my 7+ since its debut and I still didn't saw this feature actually "working". I charge everyday overnight at the same routine and, still, looking at the battery graphs in the morning, battery goes straight up to 100% and keeps there. Anyone experiencing the same thing? Apple made iPhone battery case not recognized on 13.1 Posted: 26 Sep 2019 07:55 AM PDT iOS 13.1 isn't/doesn't recognize my Apple made iPhone battery case for my 6s... it's just a heavy, bulky, case now... doesn't even charge when connected to the outlet edit: also battery % is baking hot dropping almost by the second 78-77-76-75 while updating apps edit2: case also not showing up under "Batteries" in widget I asked if anyone experienced any issues when updating to iOS 13/13.1 on their 6s because I had a feeling Apple didn't put as much thought into older models. Lo and behold, this. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Sep 2019 07:53 AM PDT I have an iPhone 6s (64 GB) and I don't really know if upgrading to iOS 13 will affect and make my performances worse! Your suggestions? [link] [comments] |
