Posted: 06 Aug 2019 10:18 PM PDT Any advice would be appreciated. I have an 18 month old SE that still has a good battery according to battery health. I probably only get 3.5 hours of screen on time in a charge since changing over to Sprint. I have free service from them until January, so I am reluctant to switch out. The personal hotspot wheel is always spinning in settings-- wondered if that could be related to the problem. My plan does not have hotspot. Resetting network settings does not help. Neither did completely wiping the phone. Here's a pic of the hotspot thing: https://imgur.com/a/YO8uBYK Any ideas? Thanks [link] [comments] |

But if I use itunes to transfer, it won't let me delete them. I can use google drive etc since the size is not that big, (4-5gb) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Aug 2019 06:58 PM PDT I literally pulled my iPhone 8+ out of my pocket and all of a sudden it was piece of shit. I can't watch any videos, volume will not work at or speaker phone, only Bluetooth or headphones. It will randomly exit out of apps and is moving extremely slow. If I even try to ply something out loud my phone will say error and close the app. My phone is updated to the current iOS [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Aug 2019 02:41 PM PDT Title explains most of it. I replaced my battery 3 times already first one in November 2018 than January 2019 and third one on May 2019 the battery replacement never helped my battery it's been only 2 months and my battery health is already on 92% and not sure what to do it was the same thing about every 2 months the battery health is on the low 90s. My daily use I only get about 4-5 hours of screen time I normally wake up at 6 am and brush my teeth and use my phone till 11 am and by the time my phones in the 15-25% range and I constantly have to carry a portable charger with me and it's getting really annoying. IOS 13 beta for some reason actually helped how long my battery lasts not sure why. Anyone have tips ? [Not really trying to upgrade phone right now] [link] [comments] |

Want to get old photos off iPhone Posted: 06 Aug 2019 04:40 PM PDT I have photos dating back to 2014 on my phone. These do not show up in file explorer when I plug in via USB, and they don't show up in iTunes. In my phone, if I go to Photos > and scroll back to view by a range of months, I see them. They're from several phones ago at this point. How can I remove these from my phone to clear up space? Are they even taking up space? I can't tell! Sorry if this is an idiot question but I've googled for an hour now and can't figure out a way to do it. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Aug 2019 06:34 PM PDT I've had my iPhone for nearly 2 years now, and I have a huge data problem. My iCloud storage is at it's maximum, but only because of photos. How may I clear up this space without losing the photos? Songs I have downloaded onto my phone have also been disappearing rapidly for no apparent reason. (Please note: I cannot purchase a larger iCloud storage plan.) [link] [comments] |

Does the screen take longer to turn off on 12.4? Posted: 06 Aug 2019 02:44 PM PDT I updated yesterday and now I notice when I click the side button to shut the screen off it's not instant anymore. There's a delay of one second. Does anyone else notice this? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Aug 2019 10:58 AM PDT I'm usually against getting children phones. But I live in a separate continent and the only real way I can speak to my 9 year old without going through his awful mom is getting him a phone with Whatsapp. I've never used iPhone before, but my GF gave me her old 6S to give him. I've created an apple ID under my name because making a child one was proving a pain, and I have installed and set up whatsapp which is the only thing he should really be using. I've added numbers for myself and his mom and that's it. Is there a way for me to block downloads from the app store such as YouTube, Netflix and any social media? Any other ways to child proof it? iPhone 6s has no more space? (But it should) Posted: 06 Aug 2019 11:06 AM PDT Hello, I have an iPhone 6s that I've had for many years. Recently I haven't been able to download anything, because i get a pop-up that says I have no more space on my phone. My phone is only a 16gb phone, but I also have 50gb of iCloud that I use for pictures and videos. In the settings window it says I'm using 12.1gb/16.0gb (so I should have almost 4gb open). I went through the list of apps and added up all the space it's using, and it adds up to exactly 12.1gb, so I don't understand why I keep getting pop-ups saying have no space left. I tried deleting a few smaller apps I don't use, and I hard reset the phone (by holding down the home and power buttons), but I still have this problem. It's getting extremely frustrating, so any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks! TL:DR- Pop-ups saying phone has no space left, but settings say I have 4gb free. Can't download anything. [link] [comments] |
iPhone XS getting stuck on home screen / Face ID Posted: 06 Aug 2019 09:56 AM PDT So, at least once per day my XS will get stuck/froze on the home screen when I attempt to unlock the phone. It's like the Face ID gets stuck or something. Just updated to iOS 12.4 and the issue is still happening. I have to click volume up/down and hold the power button to turn the phone off and on before it will work again. Is there a fix for this issue? [link] [comments] |
My music randomly switches from my Bluetooth earbuds to my phone speaker at full volume. Why?! Posted: 06 Aug 2019 09:47 AM PDT I've purchased two different brands of Bluetooth earbuds and they both do the same thing. Without provocation the music in my earbuds will start playing on my iPhone 8's speaker for the whole office to hear. The only other Bluetooth I have connected is my watch. If the Bluetooth gets disconnected shouldn't the music just pause? I'd be happy with it just not coming over at full volume. Any tips? I really don't want to go wired. [link] [comments] |
Gold to who can fix my issue 6sPlus Posted: 06 Aug 2019 08:46 AM PDT I am no longer getting notifications for any application. iPhone 7 not recognising headphones through dongle Posted: 06 Aug 2019 04:00 AM PDT Hiya, my iPhone will not recognise my apple headphones through the apple lightning to 3.5mm jack dongle. I've not tied this with any other headphones as I don't have any at the moment. When I hard reboot the phone with the accessories plugged in it will recognise them for about 20-30 seconds and then not recognise them at all. I've cleaned all areas of the phone and have already have this happen to me before. Thanks for any help that you can give me. 👍 [link] [comments] |

Block texts from specific person on iPhone? Posted: 06 Aug 2019 04:43 AM PDT I have the XR, just updated to iOS 12.4. Is there anyway to block a person from texting me? I went to Settings -> Messages -> Blocked and added his number but he's still able to text me. For the time being I turned off alerts from his texts but all that does is stop giving me notifications, I can still see the texts and I don't want to. [link] [comments] |
