    iPhone 7 Plus network problems

    I've been experiencing this issue for months now, so I thought I'd put it on here as I have yet to find a fix. I'll just be scrolling through reddit or any other apps on WiFi, when suddenly things stop loading. WiFi symbol still in status bar. To fix it I swipe up for the CC, turn WiFi off (phone then goes onto 4G) then on again and it starts loading things again. Any idea what is causing this? It drives me crazy! It can happen every 10 minutes on a bad day! I've tried restarting, resetting networking settings, restoring from backup, fresh restore. It's not my router as other devices on my WiFi work just fine. It's just super annoying!

    iPhone 8 vs iPhone 7 - Signal issues

    I have an iPhone 7 (12.3.1) with Verizon. I had the logic board replaced under the recall.

    My wife's iPhone 8 kicks my phones butt in terms of cell reception. I'll have a bar or two, she'll have 3-4. Speed tests show hers is faster. Toggling airplane mode on both yields the same reception/speeds. Same locations.

    As far as I know the antennas/chipset for the radio are the same, anyone have suggestions for improving?

    Apps that are no longer compatible are removed from the app store, but if we could have some compatibility across the versions of IOS, we could get back games like flappy bird, chipper and son, zombie farm, zombie chef and so on. It kinda frustrates me that this isn't implemented already, considering it's a quality of life improvement and not just another gimmick, but what are you gonna do?

    Cookie values in an iOS browser

    Reposting this at a different time of day in hopes someone will see it and have an answer.

    This would make my life 10 times easier. All I need is the ability to copy a certain cookie value from a certain website, but I can't find a single browser with this functionality. Many of them let me clear individual cookies and see the names of the cookies, but none will show me the actual value associated with the cookie.

    There's an app called Cookie editor that claims to do this for 99 cents, but it just plain doesn't work. What a waste, lol.

    Forgive me if I'm butchering the terminology, I'm not well versed in tech.

    Importing photos to Apple Photos, and de-duping.

    Not sure this is the correct sub to ask, but figured I'll get pointed in the right direction at least.

    Now that I've decided to come fully back into the Apple fold for good, I'd like to import all my photos from various places (a few hard drives, and Amazon Photos) into the Apple Photos app. I can do all this from my MacBook.

    My question is, how do I best do this to avoid duplicates? We're talking decades worth of photos (10,857 on one hard drive I just looked at), so I'm bound to have some overlap between Hard Drive 1/2/3/4 and Amazon Photos (my cloud storage of choice until I move it all to Apple), etc. Is it best to try to remove duplicates first by gracefully de-duping, say, Hard Drive 1 and Hard Drive 2, and then de-duping that consolidated list against Hard Drive 3, and so on? Or is it best to just import everything into Apple Photos and then de-dupe from there?

    This is a bit overwhelming, and don't know how to start. Also, what is a good de-duping app? Or does Apple provide a native way to de-dupe?

    Creepy Safari Suggestion

    Earlier, I was out with a friend of mine and I had my university's intranet open in Safari on my phone. A university which this friend has never attended or searched for or had anything to do with.

    When my friend opened Safari on their phone and typed a couple of letters into Google for something else (but with the same first few letters as my uni), a URL that linked directly to my university intranet's showed right at the top of their suggestions.

    I can't for the life of me figure out how this could have happened. Does anybody know?
