    Received the newest Brydge Keyboard for my iPad Pro 12.9 (2018). Extremely disappointed. Photos in post.

    I'll keep this brief. So, I received my new Brydge keyboard that has been on pre-order since April. This is the newest generation, released at the end of May 2019. Fits my iPad Pro 12.9 (2018).

    Main complaints:

    1) Packaging sucked; little to no void fill or padding, so the parcel looked abused and somewhat smooshed. Luckily, the keyboard box itself was okay aside from a minor smoosh on the corner.

    2) Opened the box to find the space bar key floating around. I contacted customer support and they sent a video on how to put it back. Needless to say, it isn't going back on like it should and is very loose, flimsy and ends up popping off.

    3) Upon further inspection, the keyboard is bent. You can clearly see in the photos that there is a good couple millimeters of space between the iPad and the keyboard on one end and then the keyboard pressing against the iPad screen because of the bend in the middle. Also, the rubber feet don't even touch the surface of my desk which is totally flat/level. I can put a carpenters level on the board if anyone would like. It's totally tweaked.

    4) The hinges are so fucking stiff that I'm afraid I'm going to break them off or bend them when I try to move it into a 90 degree position. Extremely worried about damaging my iPad because of how stiff they are. Each hinge has a very small contact point which can cause extreme pressure on the glass and possibly crack it. Not going to experiment.

    Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say because I can't even use it. Really bummed because I thought this keyboard would outdo the Apple Smart Keyboard.

    I've been using Groove 2 for ages, but I just upgraded updated and it lost its stability. Turns out it was discontinued.

    Now I'm on the laborious task of finding its replacement.

    I use the ipad mounted horizontally in my truck as a music player. Here's the features I'm looking for. Can anyone recommend something that fits everything?

    ​

    • Non streaming (play my loaded music library)
    • Able to shuffle/randomize music in an intelligent way
      • This is the biggest must have. Groove 2 could create a temporary playlist of "favorites", Three of a kind (random artists with 3 songs chosen for each), or there was a "surprise" me button that pulled one artist or a variety.
    • Easy UI (controls must be large/easy enough for driving)

    I've been digging into lists of the best apps but short of buying them all and trying them, I just can't tell which would be appropriate.

    I downloaded Ecoute, but I'm not thrilled with the size (it's an iphone app that can expand to fill most of an ipad screen).

    Stringer sounds like it might be a good option.

    iPad Pro 11” Smart Folio that doesn’t cover the back?

    Has anyone ever seen a "Smart Folio" for the 3rd gen iPad Pro that doesn't cover the back of the device? I'm looking for a cover similar to the Smart Cover we could buy for older models. The back of the iPad Pro is super nice and I would love to keep it naked while protecting the front of the screen.

    Do you think that this will be a thing? I believe it could be being that Apple announced support for Bluetooth mice so it made me think; how hard could it be to implement a Bluetooth trackpad bellow the keyboard on a keyboard case?

    In the past week or so, the touch screen response on my iPad Pro 11" (about 6 weeks old) has gotten terrible.

    Sometimes typing doesn't respond at all.... swipes sometimes only partially work... it is super annoying. Rebooting doesn't seem to make any real impact.

    It's acting either like the screen isn't registering the touch... or that the processor is so busy it can't deal with it.

    Has anyone else seen anything like this?

    iPad Pro 2017 charges so slowly, is there any solutions?

    I made a rooky error and bought the iPad Pro 2017 last September just before the latest release and now really regretting not waiting partly because of the slow charging. Has anyone managed to find a solution for this? Maybe a specific charger or something.

    iPad Pro can't connect to wifi? :(

    I have the 10.5 in ipad pro on iOS 12.3.1, and for some reason it refuses to connect to any wifi network. I tried my home network, work network, and my mobile hotspot and it always just says "Incorrect password" (even though the password is correct) and doesn't connect.

    I tried turning off and on the Wifi, resetting network settings, and rebooting the device multiple times. None worked :( Anyone know how to fix this?

    iOS Keyboard Remapping App?

    Is there an iOS app that will allow me to remap keys on a physical keypad or keyboard? I am looking for an iOS app that I could use on my ipad to use an external keypad to remap some buttons for shortcuts for programs like Sketchbook Pro.

    Any news on whether iPadOS will finally support multiple users?

    This is a desperately needed feature IMHO. An iPad is such an easy device to share, but I also don't want to hand people the keys to my work email, personal email, work Slack, etc., etc., etc. I'd be much more apt to drop $1500+ on an iPad Pro + Pencil, etc., if it just had basic multi-user support.

    Google Suite on iPad

    I used Google Sheets quite often and my new job doesn't provide computers. I only have an iPad but I could hardly get Google Sheets to do anything on my iPad.

    Any tricks to work around this? Or other apps I can switch to?
