I have a work that requires me to stay at a hotel pretty often. most of the hotels are using browser sign in , and because apple TV doesn't have a browser I'm not able to connect. | Apple TV gaming with Airplay audio out? Posted: 30 Jun 2019 12:31 AM PDT Is this possible without latency? Have an old Bose Sountouch (still AirPlay 1). Have used it for years with Netflix, Plex, etc and Airplay audio out (over wifi) is perfect - Apple TV keeps things in sync, usually by auto introducing a few hundred ms of delay in the video. With gaming though, you obviously can't have video delay anywhere - is AirPlay 2 faster? Anyone with an Airplay speaker that has this working with reasonable delay? Running wires is a massive pain. With Steamlink being released, it's be really nice to have a wireless solution here! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:12 AM PDT Why does my new Apple TV 4K have bad kind a pixilated graphic/blurry, its not super obvious but you can sure tell. Trust me on this, i tried everything, switching between res and sdr/hdr, matchmaking, color mode, kronos, reset, cable, btw my tv is samsung 8 series 4K, and my old Apple tv (3.gen) is running fine on same cable and port. This is so frustrating because my tv smart platform is unreal slow now and i really like the tiny remote for everything on ATV4K and the sleek and fast interface. Any thoughts? | Can't Log in to MLB on more than one AppleTV (or any apple device) Posted: 29 Jun 2019 08:57 PM PDT So title says it all. I've logged in to the MLB app on one my ATV4ks and it works exactly as it should (incredibly well designed app by the way). When I try to log in on my other ATV4k it tells me that my login info is incorrect. Ditto when trying to sign in on my iPad. Even logging in on that first ATV4k came with problems. I had logged in in a browser no problem, in the android app no problem, but no joy on the ATV4k. I had to select forgot password and go through the process of resetting it. After this I was able to log in on the AT4k - but only one. I have no idea why this is happening. Has anyone else had this experience? Can you log into multiple i-devices? Is there a way to send the video from the apple tv to the projector, but the sound to speakers? The amp for the pool speakers is in the garage about 80feet from the pool, so bluetooth range is too far for a good connection. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 29 Jun 2019 07:31 PM PDT Is it possible to have Airplay AutoConnect from a MacMini? I am using a MacMini as a server that is hiding in a closet. Sometimes I cannot remote connect to the computer. Currently I just hard reset the computer, but I would prefer not to do this. Would there be any way to have the computer automatically connect to an AppleTV that I could connect to my computer? Or is there another device that I could use to be able to see what is going on with my MacMini without running an HDMI cable or using a wireless HDMI extender? Thanks [link] [comments]  | ||
| Audio issues with Soundbar and Apple TV Posted: 29 Jun 2019 12:34 PM PDT Hi guys I'm fairly new to this whole reddit thing but I would appreciate any help from the community. I have a Samsung HW-N650 Soundbar which is connected to my Samsung TV via a hdmi dvi port and then my Apple TV to the Soundbar. The problem I seem to be facing is that the dialogue is being overpowered by other sounds which is making it very hard to hear what is being said. The whole purpose of buying the soundbar was to improve on this but it hasn't done a great job! Can any help suggest what I can do to improve this so that I can hear my clearly what is being said? I had let them borrow my older Apple TV and helped them set up the one they own. Both models are third generation, model number 1427. My significant other is not the most tech savvy and never updates their devices, so I updated both TV's to 7.3. While working on my Mac one afternoon, to my surprise, I was able to connect to both third generation Apple TV's and their AirPort Express. While looking the apple website, it does not reflect this discovery. Is anyone else seeing this result? Does anyone know any articles that address this? I have a ton of photos in my iCloud library, and I would like to have a screensaver that shows all the photos. But as I see it, I can only choose to use one of my photoalbums as a screensaver? Do you have any experience with this? The perfect solution would be to be able to set checkmarks on multiple/all the albums you would like to include in the screensaver. I could of course just create a new album with all my photos, that just seems counterintuitive. [link] [comments]  | ||
