    Its new only 27 days old iPhone X. Switches off at 10% battery(behaves as 1% on 10%battery) and when you plug it back it starts charging from 11% tested at least 8 times. Did factory reset to no avail. Please anybody out there can tell me what’s wrong ? Any solution will be helpful.

    Ugh,, I wasn't paying attention and I deleted/emptied my trash with an important pages doc. How do I recover it without paying or possibly downloading some app? I don't have Time Machine set up, nor is it on my iCloud.

    I can't access my iPad anymore

    I have an iPad 5th gen, and yesterday I reset my iPad in order to clean up all the junk I had installed. Everything went smoothly, except there was now an activation lock. I noticed the email it showed was for my old apple id that I haven't used in years, and so I just continued to try to login to it. After I entered in the apple id and password, then clicked next, it prompted me saying that the appleid was disabled and I had to reset my password- no problem, but it actually became a problem. A HUGE problem. I went to reset it and entered in the appleid, and it asked me to verify a phone number, only showing the last two digits. I recognized the last 2 digits to be my old number from a long time ago and of course I don't remember it. I started entering what I thought should've been the number, and of course it wasn't and now it says: "You have entered an incorrect phone number too many times. Try again later." I contacted apple support by phone, and the senior adviser told me that I needed a proof of purchase from the original vendor (for theft reasons, etc.), but I don't have that since it was a gift. I also do not have the imei of the device because for some reason its not on the back of the ipad, and the box was thrown away. So am I locked out of my iPad forever? I have other devices (other family member's ipads, and iphones) that are also logged into the same appleid on iCloud (but it always pops up the notification that tells you to update or reset it). Would that be evidence that because I have it on multiple of my own devices means that I did not steal it? (if I brought them all to the apple store) What can I do in my situation. Am I really just locked out of my device forever and it is useless now?

    Edit: It was on ios 12, and model number is A1822, if needed for some reason. I'm happy to provide other details if needed

    Can’t download iCloud. I wanted to check my iCloud but on the AppStore it says that the app specific features that aren’t available on my device. It says I need iOS 10 at the least for it too work but I have the latest update. I have an IPhone 6 Plus

    Hi everyone, hoping to pick your brains about some WEIRD iPhone problems I've been having. I'll give you the TL;DR version first: I can't send or receive photo images or group texts, troubleshooting steps are not helping and I need to figure out if it's a apple issue or not.

    10 months or so ago while at a friend's house with really bad reception, I decided to test out WiFi calling. This was on my trusty iPhone 6 SE with Sprint as the carrier. I ended turning off the WiFi setting that same day, but right after turning it off I started having a texting problem. Anytime I texted someone with an Android, the message would immediately error out with a "Not Delivered" message. I would then have to go into airplane mode and back out again, and then the text message would go through after re-sending. Messages would continue to go through for a few hours, until the dreaded "Not Delivered" message problem came back, forcing a cycle of airplane mode several times a day to send messages. Mildly annoying, and no amount of troubleshooting/changing settings/turning imessage on or off/powering down/etc helped so I just dealt with it.

    Fastforward to last month, when I switched to Visible as my carrier and bought a new iPhone 8. I backed up my old phone and restored it to my new phone. Visible initiated porting, which I had to put on hold until my new phone was delivered. Even though the porting was on hold, a new texting problem happened immediately Anytime anyone (especially android users) texted me, they would usually get a "message not sent" or "invalid destination" message. This was while my service was still 100% active with Sprint. I was also having trouble sending messages. Once my number was fully ported over to Visible, all of the texting issues resolved.

    ...Or so I thought. After one week of no texting issues, suddenly everyone is getting "invalid destination" messages again when they try to send me photos, and I'm not getting even regular group text messages. Some texts are coming through fine. I have a ticket with Visible (they say it's something wrong with my phone #) and I'm going to stop by an Apple store this weekend to see if they can help, but has anyone ever been through this? I don't know if the problems are all related or if I just have shit luck with texting, but I REALLY want to be able to just send and receive texts like a normal human being. Again no amount of resetting network settings, playing with MMS settings, etc. seems to help.

    Sorry that was so long! Does this sound like an iphone setting issue? A phone # issue? Any thoughts, tips tricks or recommendations you have are appreciated. :)

    Recently a somewhat wealthy friend gave me their old iMac 2012, and apparently it was broken and they had no need for it. So they gave it to me to try and fix.

    I reset the PRAM and that did nothing, except finally cause the mac chime to kick in. But still. I kept getting red vertical lines, a half progress bar with an Apple logo, and then goes to a grey screen and restarts. I did some more research and apparently it's a broken graphics card. And one possible fix is heating it into the oven to reflow the solder joints. But I wanted to confirm on Reddit or try any possible other fixes.

    "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes"

    I really have no idea how this happened and really need an urgent fix since I am travelling in two days. This afternoon my iPhone 7 that has been working normally all of a sudden started lagging severely and saying it was out of storage (32gb). Even after deleting over 10gb of apps and pictures, it still kept saying it was full and continued to lag and freeze. After a few attempts of trying to delete even more, suddenly my iPhone was disabled for an hour. Once that hour was done I tried once again to free up some more space. Then out of the blue my iPhone gets disabled, saying I need to connect to iTunes. Following the instructions, I connected my iPhone to my computer.

    Upon connecting it to my laptop, iTunes popped up with this message: "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."

    Looking at my phone, there is no prompt whatsoever for me to input my passcode. I tried this several times yet no prompt for me to enter my passcode comes up. It seems I'm totally locked out from using my phone and I really do not know what to do. I'm planning on going to the Apple Store tomorrow, but any help would be appreciated.

    My friend's Iphone X got saltwater in it,and now part of the screen won't respond to touch.

    So, long story short, me and my friends were being stupid last night and decided to walk into the ocean with our phones. My friend, who has an Iphone X, never submerged her phone, but the phone got wet with the saltwater from the waves. A couple hours later, the bottom right portion of the screen won't respond to touch. It was about midnight when we were in the ocean. I was looking and found stuff about rubbing alcohol, but they all said to do it immediately, but it's been almost 24 hours. Is there a way to fix this?

    How to view Safari passwords on Android phone?

    Whenever I sign up for a new website,, Safari makes a strong password for me and saves it. On my Macbook I can easily autofill the passwords whenever I visit the website by using Touch ID and I don't need to remember the complex password. However when I want to login to those websites on my Android phone, I can't do so without looking up the password on my Macbook. Is there any way to view my passwords saved in Safari from my Android phone.

    All of my notes in the iPhone notes app are gone

    Opened it up and I had main and personal folders available, but they were empty. I was able to recover cloud notes, which are mostly things from my iPad. Any way to recover my notes? Some of them were quite important.

    This sounds dumb, but I can't say for certain what folder they were in. iPhone 8 Plus.

    Digital Crown on iwatch stopped working

    Hi! Just got a new iPhone and all of a sudden my Digital Crown stopped returning to the home screen when I press it. It still scrolls. I unpaired and repaired with my phone and it still does not work. Any advice?

    [MacBook Pro Late 2013] Areas of keyboard not working.

    My wife's built-in MBP keyboard has stopped working in a couple of areas. I performed an SMC reset and it didn't help. Paired a bluetooth Apple keyboard, and it works just fine.

    Keys not working on left side: F1, `, q, a, z

    Keys not working on right side: F11, F12, delete

    As you can see, they're grouped in a way. This makes me think something is wrong with the hardware. I have an iFixit kit and am willing to dismantle it. What should I look for?

    I have a question about dualsim on the iPhone XS.

    My main carrier AT&T doesn't get service in my school. If I get a Sprint plan and put it in my phone and use the data from the sprint plan will the att plan use that data for WiFi calling? I know it works when my phone is connected to a hotspot from another phone but idk if it'll work like this

    (AIRPODS) I was recently gifted AirPods about 3 weeks ago, I suspect my coworker swapped her older, dirtier case with mine, can I use the serial numbers to check?

    I'm not 100% sure but i did receive them only 3 weeks ago and the case went from being Pearl white to having a blackish dirt hue on them and also has small scratches and abrasions all over it, Can I cross check the Serial Number in the case to anything to see if it's actually their case they swapped with mine? Or do AirPods cases get really messed up really quickly. They've mostly been in jeans and by themselves in the water bottle compartment of my fanny pack.

    After being an android user for 5 years, I'm going to switch to iOS.

    It started off with me getting the iPad Pro for school, and I just loved how it worked so well for note taking, I use GoodNotes 5 and it's amazing for my needs. The problem; there was no way for me to review my notes on my android, as it only syncs with iCloud and is an iOS app. But, though this is the biggest reason, it's not the only reason why I'm switching to the "Apple Ecosystem", there is just something about the whole interface and seamlessness that made me more productive, and with an iPhone, I'll have the consistency that comes from the same UI and the same apps, it would coherently work together and it'd make life just that much easier.

    Now, I am not sure which iPhone to get, should I wait for the iPhone 11 or buy an iPhone XS Max? The iPhone XS Max has 3D Touch which is why I want to buy it instead of waiting for the 11 but will it even work in iOS 13? Is the money everyone has paid for the Taptic Engine of the iPhone's just going to go down the drain?

    Any advice on my situation would be greatly appreciated :D

    How do I swipe left and right when Mac is docked?

    I have a 2019 MacBook Pro, and in some apps, such as the News app, I swipe left and right in articles to move from one page to the next. However, when the Mac is docked and I'm using a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, the trackpad is inaccessible as it is closed and docked. Any remedies for this? Left and Right arrow does not function to move the page around.
