| iMessage not syncing with other iPhone, but works with all other devices Posted: 08 May 2019 05:46 PM PDT I tried to search for an answer and couldn't really find one specific to this issue, so here goes. I recently got an SE for a more portable device, so my 6S+ has not been used for a few weeks. However, iMessage is really messed up on it now. It's not syncing with any of my other iDevices (MBP, the SE, older iPad). Those all work just fine; the odd thing is that one conversation thread is up to date on my 6S+, but everything else has stopped syncing the moment I removed my sim card. I've tried pretty much everything I could find on the web: toggle iMessage, sign out and back in of iMessage, try to change the "send to and receive" addresses, sign out of iCloud/aApple account entirely, hard reset, reset network settings, toggle iMessage in iCloud. I may have tried more but that is what I remember as of now. I am still seeing a spinning circle next to my number in iMessage, as if it still "sees" my phone number even though the sim is in my SE. I'm pretty stumped as to why messages are not syncing since all my other devices are just fine, and my messages should be in iCloud. Any help would be very much appreciated! [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 08 May 2019 10:05 AM PDT I know there are various ways to make room for storage, but I don't feel that I can really delete anything else. When I go to my overview page, it says that it is more than half-full of other. What is this data and can I get rid of it? Edit: Also, I have an apple computer that put all my photos onto. I had like 1000 (literally) photos on it, I so I moved them to the and deleted them from my phone. Somehow it's still saying I don't have any space. [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 6S not working with Aftermarket displays IOS 12.2 Posted: 08 May 2019 04:20 PM PDT This morning, a customer dropped her Iphone 6S back after her digitizer became unresponsive following a repair earlier in the week. We tested about 4-5 aftermarket displays, none worked. We then put back her original (still functioning, yet broken) display and that works fine. Has anyone else experienced issues with Aftermarket displays on the Iphone 6S and IOS 12.2? Could this be another case of Apple software being incompatible with Aftermarket displays? | Is any one else not receiving emails? Posted: 08 May 2019 04:09 PM PDT I have an iPhone 8 and recently my email hasn't been going to my phone. I have an iCloud account and I've checked on a laptop (not mac) to see if my emails were going there and they aren't either. I've reset my network connections and turned it on/off again. Does anyone have any advice? [EDIT] I figured it out, apparently because my iCloud storage was so full I couldn't use my email anymore? Cause that makes perfect sense. | iTunes errors 0xe8000015 and 3600 Posted: 08 May 2019 02:04 PM PDT Hello, I recently got my phone repaired for a broken screen and water damage, and when I received it back it was disabled. I was told to go home and update the phone with iTunes, I did this, and got error 0xe8000015, I tried a new cable, still got the same error, tried different ports, got the same error, tried putting the phone into recovery mode and then restoring, and got error 3600. | Posted: 08 May 2019 01:13 PM PDT Hello #Issue1 so my iphone antenna shows the number 432 35 . how to fix it? #Issue2 Also when i trun on /restart / holdiing power+home or volume down buttomn etc. anything for booting . before i see the apple logo . for less than one second it suddenly shows a blue screen then apple logo will come and all things are ok . | Speak Screen switching language mid screen Posted: 08 May 2019 10:36 AM PDT Hello all, My sister greatly benefits from speak screen, as she is unable to process information that she reads. On her old iPhone 6, the speak screen feature would switch languages mid page, then return to English. We ended up getting her a new XS max (she needed a new phone anyways, and the new camera let's her take portrait pictures of all her beverages, ha), setting it up as a new phone, and the problem continues. | Iphone 11 bought in USA would work in India ? Posted: 08 May 2019 09:36 AM PDT I am planning to buy iphone 11 from usa and I live in India. Since iphone is very expensive in India. I wanted to know whether it will function in india. I was checking apple website and was comparing the frequency bands between usa iphone xs max and india iphone xs max. I found out only difference is that usa iphone does not have band 28 and india iphone has band 28. So will that have any impact on internet connectivity or daily usage of the phone. | iPhone 5c randomly stops detecting my sim card Posted: 08 May 2019 04:25 AM PDT From time to time (every 2 days or so) my iPhone 5c will just pop up the notification "no sim card installed" and when I take the sim out and put it back in it detects it again. It happens randomly at any moment, while I'm using it or when it's locked. I think its a problem with the sim card reader. Is this fixable? I don't want to buy a new phone because aside from this issue everything works fine [link] [comments]  |
