Take a Screenshot with the Keyboard Posted: 15 May 2019 06:14 AM PDT Owners of Logitech's Slim Folio Pro, it's difficult to take a screenshot with the iPad's buttons because of the rubber bumpers on the corners. But you can take a screenshot with a keyboard shortcut like you can on the Mac: Command (⌘) + Shift + 3. Using the shortcut Command (⌘) + Shift + 4 takes a screenshot and immediately launches it into Markup mode. Works with any iPad keyboard. [link] [comments]

Upgrading from 2017 to 2018 iPad Pro, Touch responsiveness question Posted: 15 May 2019 06:34 AM PDT Hey guys, So as always whenever I buy new tech or upgrade to a new design of something, I go look for horror stories on forums I should be worried about and "gates" and always there are bendgates,something-gates, etc etc. First thing I saw about the 2018 iPad was a bend gate of sorts but I researched and stop worrying because I'm going to be careful with it anyway I never drop tech or would never sit on an iPad or try to break it with my hands on purpose. Now im reading something else I didnt see before and that is lots of threads talking about how after a few days/weeks/months the screen stops responding to touch inputs like typing and drawing sometimes and people are frustrated about it. Also they say this 2018 iPad Pro has worse touch responsiveness with screen protectors then the 2017 was. This worries me because responsiveness on my 2017 iPad Pro is fine with a Sparin tempered glass screen protector and I intend to get the 2018 version of this protector when I get the new iPad. Is all of this really wide spread or just a few unlucky loud minority that had issues? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 11:34 AM PDT Just bought an iPad Air 3 and after one day of using it it's absolutely covered in fingerprints. What does everyone do to help this "issue"? Just constantly wipe it down? Any suggestions for screen protectors that resist fingerprints better than Apple's coating, which seems to not do anything? [link] [comments]
The app every iPad Pro owner is waiting for is looking for Beta Testers Posted: 14 May 2019 04:15 PM PDT Hey Guys, The day I got my 9.7" iPad Pro, one thing was always on my mind, why can't I write on the calendar app w/ Apple Pencil support and use it as an agenda. I began to build what is now InkCalendar, I plan on launching it very soon. However, I would like some user feedback on it and hence I've opened the Beta up to 10 lucky users. I hope that once it is launched it will fill the void that I've seen a lot of people including I have been waiting for a proper calendar/agenda app with Apple Pencil Support! Help - Can someone take a photo of 3rd Gen Ipad Pro typc c port please Posted: 15 May 2019 12:47 PM PDT Just need to clarify something to Apple, but need a photo to just based my against. They stated they found no issues but the problem is still there. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 May 2019 08:06 PM PDT I love my ipad pro, genuinely, but it feels like i'm holding a device in my hands with all the power i could ever possibly need to do whatever i wanted, but it's being held back by IOS. "Xbox One level graphics", but the only games you can play on it are those mobile games from the app store. An incredibly portable and easy to use device that i would to love to have Desktop versions of Chrome on. What do you think? [link] [comments]
iPad is not charging after 12.3 update Posted: 15 May 2019 11:41 AM PDT Does anyone else have the problem that the iPad is not charging after update to 12.3? The shortly shows the lightning next to the battery symbol and the writes „not charging" next to it. My iPhone charges just fine. Any idea? [link] [comments]
BoltHub, an alternative to the HyperDrive USB-C hub Posted: 14 May 2019 09:45 PM PDT https://i.imgur.com/dzYqylU.jpg For those of you on the market for a USB-C hub, BoltHub may be a good alternative to the HyperDrive USB-C hub. [link] [comments]
What is your charger of choice? Posted: 15 May 2019 04:44 AM PDT I'm in the market for a new charger since I don't have one for my iPad Pro 10.5. I'm currently looking into this Anker since it can basically fast charge all my devices including charge a Nintendo Switch in such a small form factor. But I wanna hear what chargers you guys use on a daily basis? [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 May 2019 05:21 PM PDT Hi guys, so I bought a 512gb iPad Pro and wanted to use it to watch videos offline. I have many folders with movies and TV shows on my Windows 10 PC. I want to know if it's possible to organise these videos into folders or playlists on the iPad rather than just having a huge library of videos in alphabetical order? Any help would be appreciated. Slightly disappointed in the iPad Pro 11" Posted: 14 May 2019 06:08 PM PDT So I finally bought a pro mainly as an entertainment device because of the much faster charging time with USB C (5 hours to recharge anything is just unacceptable), and the supposedly much improved screen. Previously on my iPad Air 2 the screen is just noticeably washed out, especially when compared to the awesome colors and contrast on my Surface Book. Now that I have it, the screen is definitely improved, with richer colors and better blacks, but still not as good as my surface book. I'd say the main differences I notice are the truemotion, which makes it feel much smoother when operating, but doesn't really do anything for viewing regular content, and the faster processor makes it feel much more responsive. The slightly larger screen is also nice, but the always visible home bar that most apps haven't updated to remove, especially while watching content fullscreen is super annoying. I was considering the Galaxy Tab S4 but mainly decided against it because the battery life supposedly isn't nearly as good, as well as the Android tablet apps supposedly being kind of lackluster (haven't owned an Android tablet personally though). I played with one in store and the color is noticeably richer, but almost comic book like oversaturated when using it normally. These are just kind of my initial thoughts and maybe seeking some advice from folks who've maybe tried both the Samsung OLED tablet and the iPad Pros, or both regular iPads and iPad Pros. I like the 11" Pro, but not sure if I $750 love it, and that I couldn't just get away with getting a 2nd Gen 10.5" iPad Pro for hundreds less, or the Samsung Tablet for around $500.
