Favorite apps that are less known. Posted: 12 May 2019 01:23 AM PDT Hi! In this subreddit there are mostly the same apps that are being mentioned; Goodnotes, Notability, Luma Fusion etc... What are your favourite apps that people never mention? Mine are: 1) Opener: This app open links in respective apps instead of in some webpage/alternative. It is an extension and it costs money, but I use it everyday. 2) Audiobus 3: Audiobus lets you connect several music apps and use them together. You can record music in Garageband from another app instead of using only one of them. It is very useful (essential) if you create music on your iPad. 3) Impaktor: With this app you can lay your iPad on the table and let you use the table as a drumkit. It senses you hitting the table and makes an equivalent sound to your hit. You do NOT hit your iPad, but the table instead. 4) Retouch: This apps let you erase objects from your photos. It works really well and I use it quite often. [link] [comments]
Are White Spots still an issue for the 10.5”? Posted: 12 May 2019 01:47 PM PDT So I recently just purchased an iPad Pro 10.5 for a pretty decent price ($620 CAD). I chose the 10.5" model because the features were very comparable to the latest 11" at a much reasonable price point. However, now that Im doing some research and comparisons Im noticing tons of issues with a white spot appearing on the screen. Is this something I should worry about? Or was this something only with day 1 models? [link] [comments]

Thinking about iPad + Pixel Combination Posted: 12 May 2019 09:17 AM PDT I'm looking for a new phone to replace my iPhone 6s, but I am curious about how messaging would work between these two devices. Could I send and receive the same messages I get on my phone? [link] [comments]

Can I use my Mac charger to charge my iPad Pro? Or will it mess it up. Posted: 12 May 2019 06:46 AM PDT I recently traded my MacBook Air for a new iPad Pro but kept the MacBook Air charger instead of the iPad because it was longer. It didn't even don on me that the voltage was different until now so could it mess up my iPad with it being so much higher? [link] [comments]
Looking for a specific type of case for iPad 6th gen Posted: 12 May 2019 12:57 PM PDT https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07952WB66/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_WKh2CbE6Z4RG2 I'm looking for a (non kiddy) case for my iPad similar to the above one. One that only covers the back and gives a good grip in the hands. Bonus if it has a kickstand. [link] [comments]
How do you balance a Windows/iOS lifestyle? Posted: 12 May 2019 12:07 PM PDT I've got an iPad pro on the way which I'm very excited about. I plan to use this as my mobile device/laptop "replacement" and then keep my larger 15.6" notebook at home as a stationary device when I'd like a bigger screen. Of course the notebook is a PC, operating on Windows 10. I got the iPad because let's face it, no one does tablets as good as Apple does iPads. I'm sure I can't be the only one with an iOS/Windows productivity set-up, so i'm wondering what others use to balance and sync regular switching. I'm talking about calendars, note taking, text/word processing documents, etc. I'm trying to tweak a set-up that can be virtually seamless (i.e. save whatever change I make and expect it to immediately sync up to my PC without any extra steps. Posted: 12 May 2019 02:52 AM PDT Full disclosure: I'm an MBBS Graduate from India pursuing my Post graduation. Since I have a lot of Heavy books to study from I prefer to use Ebooks/Pdf's instead, coz of the convenience as you all know. But I'm currently facing a roadblock. I want to take notes from my books but Splitview with PDFexpert & Goodnotes 5 feels cramped for me on my IPP 10.5. I tried 3 apps LiquidText, MarginNote 3 & Flexcel, but I dont fully understand how they work & I dont feel satisfied with it. My Ideal Scenario: I would love to used the full 10.5 inch of Screen real estate for Note Taking while reading my Ebooks elsewhere from: May be a Laptop(which I dont own right now) So how do you guys usually do this? Studying from an Ebook & Note taking simultaneously? [link] [comments]
iPad pro 12.9 cellular and wifi only the same price? Posted: 12 May 2019 05:36 AM PDT I made the mistake of buying an 11 inch, but now I am on the lookout for the bigger one so I can multitask better when making notes. I have noticed on eBay, the wifi only is very much the same price as cellular. I will never use cellular, I just use the hotspot on my phone but I am wondering why that is the case and which one I should go for if the price is the same? Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 May 2019 12:35 PM PDT Hi, I'll be buying an iPad Pro today, and will be using it as my primary note taking (like everyone else here), and was wondering how can I get an Ebook document onto my iPad? My faculty have offered an ebook substitute for free instead of buying a textbook to save costs for students. After some searching I've seen a few different things, but was wondering myself what the best approach to this would be? Cheers [link] [comments]
Does anyone else hate the permanent Shortcut Bar when using a hardware keyboard? Posted: 12 May 2019 06:25 AM PDT I've had a search online and on Reddit for this but not found anything. I really dislike the shortcut bar which lives at the bottom of the screen when using a hardware keyboard (like the Smart Keyboard or a bluetooth one). I'd say it's one of my biggest bugbears with the iPad Pro, which impairs my enjoyment of the device overall. My reasons for this follow:
At the moment, I keep it off all the time, but have to go and manually re-enable it in Settings when I need to autofill something, then go back to Settings to turn it off afterwards. I wouldn't mind it so much if it were minimisable (maybe a small floating bubble on the bottom right which you tap to expand if needed?) or if you could use a global keyboard shortcut to enable it. Another solution would be for long-pressing on input fields and getting an 'Autofill' option, so you can use this method to fill stuff without needing the bar. Does anyone else dislike it this much? I have put this on Apple's feedback site but I wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way. [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 May 2019 11:25 AM PDT Apple has been touting iPad as a computer replacement for a while now, yet all I see are comments from people saying apple would never introduce a mouse because it would cannibalise their own MacBook line - well, which is it? Either they don't want to cannibalise their line of laptops or they want iPad to replace laptops/computers.. personally I've found even without mouse support iPad Pro has made my MacBook pretty much totally defunct.. I use it for my writing, art, light video editing, animation as well as all the other usual tablet things.. so, it's stopped me wanting to buy another MacBook ever again without mouse support, so why bother stopping i from happening? It doesn't make any sense.. [link] [comments]

Looking for a charging dock for my iPad Pro 11 2018. Any suggestions? Posted: 12 May 2019 07:06 AM PDT Tired of having to lay it down on my nightstand and try to find my cable in the dark to charge it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 May 2019 09:52 AM PDT Just wondering, if I can place my new iPad Air 3 in a 3rd party case... It's like the normal ones you see in Amazon. [link] [comments]

Photoshop support for iPad Pro Posted: 12 May 2019 09:33 AM PDT I was exited when the 2018 iPad Pro was release, and waited no time to buy one. Then I was even more exited for them to release photoshop for the iPad. But now, almost 1/2 way through 2019 I have still not got Photoshop. Why!? Apple have not commented or suggested a more accurate date for release - the iPad will be outdated soon! Does anyone have any insight into when we will see the release? [link] [comments]
Wobbly/loose power and volume buttons Posted: 11 May 2019 09:39 PM PDT Hey guys , I just bought the new ipad pro 11 inch and was wondering if you guys had this problem as well? The buttons on it are a bit wobbly / loose when i just tap them. It also kinda rattles when i shake ipad [link] [comments]
My guess for how nous support will work on iPad Posted: 12 May 2019 07:04 AM PDT I feel like they wouldn't use a normal cursor icon on the iPad. My guess is a black circle that turns blue when something is clickable/tappable. One click is one tap, double click is double tap, click and hold is tap and hold, etc. What do you guys think? Do you reckon they'll use a regular Mac style pointer? [link] [comments]
