| Posted: 06 Apr 2019 04:13 PM PDT I recently got a 2015 Macbook pro after using only Windows all my life. I used ctrl+arrow keys constantly on Windows to jump between words, or ctrl+backspace to delete a whole word, but on Mac it seems that the equivalent shortcuts use the alt/option key. I find it almost impossible to hit this key in any convenient way while staying on the home row, which is wrecking my ability to quickly navigate documents and code the way I like to. So my question is, is there any way to remap this function to either the command, ctrl, or function key? These would all be much easier to press for this function. I haven't been able to find a good way with Google and thought this might be the right place to ask. Thanks :) [link] [comments]  | ||
