iMessage texts sometimes won't deliver to certain people Posted: 01 Feb 2019 07:08 PM PST Recently when I text someone who I usually text with imessage to (blue bubble) it says the message has not been delivered and it sends in green as a text message. This only happens to random few people on my contacts and sometimes it fixes itself and comes back. I've tried hard restarting, and I've tried turning imessage off and on in the settings but still a few of my contacts I can't send messages to (everything is working fine on their end, so it's an issue on my end) [link] [comments] |

IPhone 6s screen broken. Is there a program I can download to access my phone through my pc? Posted: 01 Feb 2019 08:14 PM PST My screen is broke and I cannot input my password. Is there some sort of program I can download to use my iPhone on my computer so I can put my pass code in? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Feb 2019 09:42 AM PST whenever I connect to the internet, it has a check next to it but no bars appear in the top left corner When this happens, I can still browse safari (so it seems like I'm connected, the check is there and the internet works) but apps won't be able to use the internet (ie YouTube.com works but not YouTube app) Whenever I try disconnecting and reconnecting, the bars appear in the corner for a split second but then disappear again I'm on the latest update, I've tried restarting, updating, and everything else but nothing seems to work Started happening a couple days ago, and I don't think it's the WiFi or the router bc this has happened when I tried connecting to multiple different WiFi connections and the same thing happens to all of them [link] [comments] |
All NOTES erased from iPhone, any way to get them back? [NO CLOUD] Posted: 01 Feb 2019 11:18 AM PST I had that weird bug that deletes all your photos and then they came back but all my notes from 5+ years subsequently deleted themselves without coming back. I never use the cloud so they're not there. (Don't give me the advice of using it from now on, please!) The puzzling thing is there was no "Recently deleted" file that popped up. But when the photos blanked, there was similarly no "Recently Deleted" file in Photos nor any albums with pictures contained in them. They were stored in my "On my iPhone" file instead of my sorry "GMAIL" file, which survived but I never use. Is there ANY way to return these files? I know there are apps for recovering photos on cards but this seems different... [link] [comments] |
iPhone 7 - Question about moving to iCloud 2TB and family sharing. Posted: 01 Feb 2019 11:30 AM PST Hi, I'm not very familiar with the iOS ecosystem. But have been using an iphone for a while. I currently have subscribed for 200GB iCloud storage, but want to switch to 2TB and share it with a family member. The family member however previously also had their own 200GB iCloud that's close to maxed out - so I will share my 2TB with him and he will stop subscribing for 200GB. Upgrading my own storage is pretty straightforward, but how do I go about ensuring family member does the same without losing any data? Do we have to manually backup his 200GB cloud to a PC and then reupload it when he switches over to my 2TB plan? Or is there an easier mechanism to just change iCloud storage, as all the data is already on their servers? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Feb 2019 10:41 AM PST So a portion of the upper screen is appearing and flickering in the lower part of my iPhone 8. Specifically the bar that displays wifi, signal, time and battery percentage is flickering in the lower half of my phone. I can still tap that area and it still functions properly no problem, also it does not ghost tap. Sometimes it goes away on it's own and sometimes it comes back too. There are no performance issues, it's just very irritating and it's making me quite livid. Does anyone have any information regarding this? If so, I'd gladly appreciate if you share them [link] [comments] |
iPhone 8+ can’t connect to App Store Posted: 01 Feb 2019 04:08 AM PST My iPhone 8+ is jailbroken and running on iOS 11.1. Yesterday, while trying to check the AppStore, it gave me an error saying "can't connect to AppStore". No matter how many times I pressed retry, it just keeps giving me the same error. I've tried literally everything I've seen people suggest. Sign in and out, change date and time to auto, make sure cellular data is on and that App Store is turned on, turn my iPhone off and on, sign out and back into my Apple ID. When I try signing into my Apple ID, it ends up signing me out and saying that it can't connect to the server. I've even made two new apple ids to see if a new account would work. I barely have any tweaks running now since I was deleting tweaks to see if it was an issue with my jailbreak but the App Store still will not connect. Any and all help is appreciated, thank you. Bottom of Iphone XR gets really hot Posted: 01 Feb 2019 12:51 AM PST I bought the new Iphone XR. I'm really happy with it but after a few days the bottom 10% of the screen started getting really hot in a short amount of time. I just did the basic trouble shooting things but nothing worked. Then i decided to whipe the settings and this worked. (I thing there is some kind of setting that causes this problem because putting the device in factory settings and then putting the back up back on didnt work. So there is something that triggers this heating problem but i cant seem to find out what. I thought about getting it repaired but there is like a 50% chance the device won't heat up so before I take my chances to get some Iphone repair guy angry at my I thought i could ask my fellow redditors for help to find the problem [link] [comments] |
IOS 12 App Store, ITunes Store, settings freeze/crash on opening Posted: 01 Feb 2019 02:26 AM PST Whenever I open these apps they are blank (white screen) or show whatever I had last open then freeze and then it will crash. This has been happening ever since I upgraded to IOS 12 on my iPhone 7 Plus sometimes it won't freeze or crash. Anytime there's a new update I immediately update and it hasn't fixed it. I've restarted my phone and cleared my cache it does nothing. I've closed the apps heaps of times it does fix the problem temporarily but I shouldn't have to do it since it wasn't a problem before. It gets really annoying when I really need to go into settings and change something or I just want to check for updates on my apps and it crashes. If anyone could help me that would be great!
