| iphone 7 front camera not working/showing black screen Posted: 26 Feb 2019 08:12 PM PST so on my iphone 7 (iOS 12.1.4) only the front camera hasn't been working for the past week and a half; on the camera app it's just a black screen & on third-party camera apps it won't flip between the two cameras at all. it's only done this once before, but that time it fixed itself after just one day. i've tried everything that websites suggest: close the app and open again, reset my phone, shut down my phone, factory reset, reset all settings, reset network settings, remove camera access from all third party apps then restart, delete all third party apps, take off my case & screen protector, and press firmly around the camera. my screen isn't cracked or anything. my flash is working. my phone is up to date. and i have reset it so many times. i'm sorry this is getting so long and also i made a reddit just to get help with this so if anyone has any advice please let me know. anything that keeps me from having to spend money and go without my phone for a week while it gets fixed. | Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:19 PM PST I just recently got an unlocked Verizon iPhone 7. I set up everything fine but when I was using it the phone suddenly died at 30 percent. It took almost an hour to turn back on and the phone was still super laggy so I decided to factory reset it. Now when I try to set it up. It says device unknown and the sim keeps on saying searching. | iPhone text-to-speech vulgar language-very embarrassing Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:09 AM PST Hi- I don't know how this happened but I turned the accessibility->speech option on to activate text to speech and for some unknown reason every time the word 'the' is said, it is replaced by 'cock ass balls bitch faggot' and every time the word 'is' is said it says 'cock balls'. As you can imagine, it is nearly impossible to use this feature with that going on. Even if I'm alone and not around anyone else that could hear, I can't make sense of what I am listening to with that going on. As you know the words 'the' and 'is' are used very frequently—almost in every other sentence—so it's just nonstop. I have a feeling that this is some kind of prank that my friend played on me. I am pretty savvy with technology but in this case I have no idea what to do! It's not listed in keyboard—> text replacement and I thought maybe it was a matter of intentional mispronunciation by Siri by a prankster friend but I have no idea how to even activate that to change it. | 6s new, apple installed battery already lousy? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 05:40 AM PST I had my 6s battery replaced at the Apple store under the $29 replacement plan just before the deadline, in December 2018. Immediately afterward it was terrific. Already, two months later, the battery lasts only about 2 hours from a full charge, playing music (with the screen off). Settings reports battery health of 82%. Is this ordinary? If not, why might this have deteriorated so quickly? [link] [comments]  |
