Posted: 25 Feb 2019 10:39 AM PST Hello everyone! I'm new to the iPad and iOS in general and I have some questions for you Pros. I'm planning on getting an iPad(2018 9.7") and Pencil(Gen 1) for my wife so she can use in her classroom. She has a projector connected to a Windows computer so what would be the best solution to project the iPad on to the wall? Would you say an Apple TV(3rd Gen?) or use software on the Windows machine with something like Reflector 3 Teacher or Lonelyscreen? Pros and cons to them? Also, will the YouTube app work properly and project with Airplay? Thank you for any help you can provide and any other useful tips you can offer. [link] [comments]
How long will your iPad Pro last? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 12:38 PM PST Hi everyone, my 2011-12 MBP has lasted me for 7 years now and performs flawlessly daily. So from a hardware/software perspective, the MacBooks from that era were pretty future-proofed. To the iPad Pro users out there—can you see your machines lasting as long or remaining usably fast over as many years? Or do you see it following more of a iPhone-like trend of becoming obsolete after a short time? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Feb 2019 10:10 AM PST Hi I have an iPad Pro 11 inch. I recently used a smart folio case, but I was always so worried about the damage. So I got a UAG case and it is protective but meh as far as taking notes goes, which is the main reason I use my iPad at school. Is there a case you'd recommend for good damage protection but full functionality for Apple Pencil and note taking? The UAG case has me writing at an angle and I don't want to bend the iPad [link] [comments]
Crazy idea - keep pencil 2.0 attached but no charge Posted: 25 Feb 2019 02:01 PM PST Is this even possible? Reason I ask is my work handed out zippered company logged pad folios that the internal sleeve is perfect for the 12.9 pro. (this was not their intent, but many are finding they fit iPads nicely. This way one can carry the iPad, legal paper (which I hardly would need), business cards, pen, etc in one convenient package. One thing that does not really fit in here is the Apple Pencil. Ideally I would like to keep it attached via magnets, but not charging all the time, in turn draining the iPad battery. Again, I realize the whole point is wireless charging, but it would be nice to have it attached but not in a charging state.. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 09:09 PM PST Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if not, please point me in the right direction. I just bought an iPad v6 (9.7 in, 2018) for my mom. I have not purchased a screencover/folio for it yet, but noticed that it is super thin and light. While I think my mom will like the thin/light part, it makes me feel like it could be fragile. I don't think this iPad is the bendy one, but, then again, my mom is superwonderclutz and this pretty toy is likely to need special protection. is the "smart cover" for the (non-Pro) iPad enough protection to protect the screen and iPad itself from damage? if not, recommend me one! When is the New Adobe Photoshop Release Date? Posted: 24 Feb 2019 09:16 PM PST One of the reasons I bought a 2018 IPP is to use the new Photoshop. I haven't been able to find anything since the announcement in October 2018. Has there been an update or an ETA? [link] [comments] |
