    I was just thinking we should add the Jailbreak name ex. unc0ver, Electra, rootless, etc. to the user flair if that's possible. With the jailbreaks being somewhat different it would help identify which jailbreak the user is using. I don't know if there's a certain max character length or what but I'd find it useful when helping troubleshoot questions on the sub.

    [Release] DarkBanners: force enables the dark notification appearance for every notification banner on iOS 12

    I've released a tweak that enables the dark notification appearance (most commonly used with Siri Suggestion notifications or with the Do Not Disturb notification on the lock screen) for every notification banner you may encounter.     Update 1: A revised version is now out with the option to disable the new keyboard, and a fix for a bug that affected the keyboard layout.

    Compatibility

    Requires iOS 12.0 or later. Made for iPhone.

    New Features

    • Neptune now has a full preferences section in the Settings app, with a fancy new icon!
    • Neptune can now be enabled in all applications.
    • Picture in Picture is now enabled system wide.
    • The keyboard is now styled as on the iPhone X and up. I am planning to add an option to adjust this height in the future.
    • The media controls button in Control Center now adopts a new transition from iOS 12.2 beta 2.
    • The modern status bar is now enabled in all applications. In order to prevent bugs, in non-Apple apps it is shorter in height. This can be disabled in Settings.

    Fixed Issues

    • Icons are no longer vertically compressed on the home screen.
    • The time on the cover sheet no longer overlaps the search bar on the widgets screen.

    Known Issues

    • Status bar does not transition properly in certain applications. This transition bug can be fixed by enabling the tall status bar system wide (beta).
    • The dock is not sized properly on the iPhone SE. This will be fixed in a future update.
    • Beta 5 has not been tested on iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone SE, and may have minor visual bugs.

    Fixes are planned for all of these issues. No eta at the moment. If you find any issues, please report them in the "Issues" section, so that I can label them and track them!

    There are a ton of questions that can be easily answered using the search tool (the magnifying glass).

    But here are some facts, questions, and answers to some of the most common ones.

    1. FIRST. go here -> r/jailbreak/wiki/faq and read
    2. Second. Progress and updates

    4. PSA - change your root password once you have jailbroken your device. SEE Tutorial under "guides" below... or here.

    As of now, iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 is still being signed! Dont ask around dont comment over and over. It can be downloaded from HERE

    FIRMWARES, iOS 12

    Is my iOS firmware supported?

    ANYTHING that is 12.1.2 OR 12.1.1 beta 3 and lower is supported

    Is my device supported?

    Anything that is an iphone x/ iphone 8 [plus] or lower is supported.

    Anything not on A12 chipset is supported.

    Should I update my firmware?

    12.1.1 b3 is a pretty stable build. Upgrade if you want. If the current os works for you, then dont upgrade. Typically a stable build > a beta build. iOS 12 > iOS 11

    Jailbreak questions and answers

    What is the difference between un0ver and rootless jailbreak?

    - unc0ver will have cydia

    - rootless is for developers or more advanced users and does not have cydia.

    THERE IS NO PREMIUM VERSION OF CYDIA, so dont buy anything that says they will offer you a premium version of cydia.
