Apple Macbook Keyboard Problem |
- Keyboard Problem
- Should I get the latest MacBook Pro? This is the specs for my current Macbook pro. I am looking at the latest 2.3GHz Dual-Core Processor 128 GB Storage, 8gb memory. Looks like I am downgrading my specs, but I have already used it for 4 years now. The battery/keyboard area gets really hot sometimes.

Need help picking first MacBook! Posted: 03 Feb 2019 07:23 PM PST So I've finally caved in and decided to buy a MacBook. But I can't decide which model to purchase! As far as needs go for a laptop, I don't have many! I just really enjoy the Apple ecosystem and as I own an 8+ I would like to integrate my laptop needs into that. I don't do any editing but run very low power programs that my job requires. Lots of emailing and I do tons of hours on YouTube and enjoy a nice display with decent speakers! Although I don't always get the max use out of my gadgets, I can say I'm a glutton for just having top tier performance. I'm torn between the 2015 256gb Pro at 2.9 ghz, 2018 base model air, or 2018 base model pro. The 2015 pro is on the table because it's in excellent condition for $750 with a BT trackpad and Magic Mouse thrown in. Which of the 3 makes the most sense for me? Should I look elsewhere or even wait for 2019 editions? Help me Apple users! Here's a link comparing all 3 if that's any help! [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 12:10 AM PST So I just purchased my first MacBook Pro (13" Touch Bar). This is my first time in the MacBook ecosystem so I wanted some suggestions on must have products/peripherals/hubs/dongles you think are necessary for a first time buyer? [link] [comments]
Same MacBook for work and for home? Also, 128 vs 256? Posted: 03 Feb 2019 11:01 AM PST it possible to make two accounts on a MacBook Air and then link one of them to your Apple ID and leave the other account ID free? Don't want my photos and personal texts appearing in my work account Also... if i don't plan to download many apps or store too much photos, will a 128 gb MacBook Air suffice? Or is that way too small a number...? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 11:00 AM PST So I'm a student in high school and looking to purchase a MacBook in the next week or so. I plan on using the MacBook for school projects, essays, research and etcetera. I also will use it for Netflix and web browsing. I have the money for a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro. Witch one should I get? [link] [comments]
Hey, I am a new MacBook user and want to ask is 27 GB normal for my system files? Posted: 03 Feb 2019 10:20 AM PST I have a MC pro 13" 2017. As I asked in the title is 27 GB normal? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 05:42 AM PST Few days ago my macbook turned off at ~25% and wouldn't turn back on until I plugged it in. Charged it for a bit and unplugged, after a while it turned off at ~50%. After fully charging it, it started to turn off instantly if I unplugged even at 100% charging. Today it started to show only 0% charging. I spilled some coke over the keyboard few months ago but after quick shutdown and cleaning it worked perfectly when I turned it on the next day and has since until now. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this just the battery or could it be something else? [link] [comments]
Experiences with replacement MBP batteries? Posted: 03 Feb 2019 07:55 AM PST I bought a new iFixIt battery for my MBP 15in mid-2015. According to coconutBattery it's consistently showing 96% battery health (that is, full charge=8448mAh, with design capacity=8755mAh). Sometimes even less. I know battery chemistry is a strange thing. But I paid about a third more than other options to buy from iFixIt with the hope of getting the best available. It's only 16% healthier than the battery it replaced (the original Apple one with 80% of its charge). 4-5% battery can mean an extra 30 minutes of usage in my experience, so it matters. (Before you ask, yes, I've calibrated the new battery by following instructions provided by iFixIt, and I've also tried resetting the power manager and SMC.) [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 06:53 AM PST When ever I send a message on my MacBook Air, it sends it as an Email rather than my number, it's still sending as IMS but just under my Email address. Can someone help? Thanks [link] [comments]
Lock second monitor if I close my macbook ? Posted: 03 Feb 2019 04:52 AM PST Hey, is there a setting to lock my second monitor if I close my macbook ? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Feb 2019 11:50 PM PST Tried resetting SMC, tried resetting the ram with cmd opt p r, nothing works. Try to go into recovery mode by holding cmd R on start up and it tries to load it, but still freezes on the apple and progress bar. I face eviction from my house if I cannot get this switched on tonight anyone have any ideas please? [link] [comments] |
