iPhone phantom keyboard bug Posted: 21 Feb 2019 05:31 AM PST I've been having a weird issue with different iPhones (7 Plus, X, XR) where sometimes after I unlock the phone and am shown the homescreen, I go to tap an app icon on the lower half and am instead hitting keys on an invisible keyboard. I will briefly see individual keys as I'm hitting them and it clicks as if I'm typing. It will take 1-2 seconds before the keyboard 'clears' and I can actually tap an app icon. I've been waiting through multiple iOS updates to see if this will eventually get fixed but it doesn't look like its being addressed. ​ This has been happening the entire time I've been running iOS 12, and I believe it was an issue on 11 as well. ​ Is this an isolated issue, or has anyone else run into this? ​ This happens on the stock keyboard and 3rd party keyboards. This does not happen every time I unlock the phone. Only if its been more than ~10 minutes since I last unlocked it. I always restore my phones from iCloud backups when I switch to a new one. Who does this in 2019, right?). I didn't realize how bad the video app has gotten. All the videos are lumped into "Home Videos" with no option to make playlists. The videos are showing they are in playlists in iTunes but there is no playlist functionality in the app. I know for music there are some good 3rd party apps for local content. [help] Searching a way to manage secondary contacts list from ICloud Posted: 21 Feb 2019 05:36 AM PST I have a second iCloud account with contacts , I'm searching the way to manage the contacts from the iPhone where I already have my contacts from the first account when I full view a iCloud contacts website it not adapted for iPhone maybe some software that connects with login and pass to iCloud ? a second iPhone it's not the option a stand-alone contacts app that is not synced with my phone but synced with iCloud? Issue with iMessages in iCloud Posted: 20 Feb 2019 08:52 PM PST My issue is that I started to allow my messages to be saved in the cloud. I have a MacBook Pro and iPhone XS Max. I decided after some time that I no longer want that. On my iPhone I go to settings and attempt to hit disable and delete option to prevent it from taking up storage space on iCloud but gives me an error message saying unable to update iCloud settings. For the MacBook Pro it gives the exact same message when I try to uncheck the box and click disable all. Any suggestions? FaceTime Audio and Airplane mode Posted: 21 Feb 2019 02:58 AM PST I've been making calls on FT audio while having airplane mode enabled for a while now, but recently my iPhone has directed me to disable airplane mode. It had me turn on Wi-Fi calling, which was already set up. I'll call someone and connect, everything looks great, and then the call fails. I can't use the call back button, I have to cancel out of the failed screen.
