Podcast app won’t notify me when a new episode is up

All of my notifications are on both inside the app and in the settings of the phone itself. Still, when I refresh the Episode page in the app there is always a new episode that I wasn't aware of. I also enabled the background refreshing just for the podcast app as well.

Ps: I have no friends so it is almost impossible for me to miss or delete by mistake any of the notifications ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Mine is syncing all the passwords for the apps and using them with my Face ID.
