| Xbox One S controllers not being found in Bluetooth menu Posted: 06 Jan 2019 07:14 PM PST I'm trying to connect my Xbox one S controller to my iPhone to play Minecraft, but the controller is not being found in the Bluetooth menu. I have used two Xbox one S controllers and both of them are not being found. Both of these controllers work over Bluetooth with the PC. I have tried putting it into pairing mode using the sync button. It doesn't even show up as an option to connect on the iPhone. Since both of the controllers are having issues working, it is an iPhone issue. I have an iPhone SE on iOS 12. Can anybody help me out? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 06 Jan 2019 01:15 PM PST Somehow I now have Screen Time logging my usage, maybe because I upgraded from the 5c? I finally got tired of the notifications so I went to disable it. It wants a passcode, and when I went to input my usual passcode it indicated there were 6 failed attempts already? I entered my usual passcode and got an error message to try again in 5 minutes. When I entered the other general passcode I've used, I got kicked back for 15 minutes. A quick search indicates there's a way around this if I connect to iTunes but my laptop is way too old for that to happen. I've shut off Notifications for now, but I'm curious where this came from with the unknown passcode that has already been attempted six times. I don't have kids or a snoopy spouse, I'm not sharing with family members, I've never set up any kind of controls on my phone other than my lock screen passcode. This is really annoying, much like the damn "Storage Almost Full" notification I can't clear. [link] [comments]  |

I cannot sign into iMessage, and when ever I do, I get an error. ("An error occurred during activation. Try again."). This error also occurred on my iPad 4. I have tried restarting both devices, and when that didn't work, I restored them through iTunes, but that didn't fix it. What should I do? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 06 Jan 2019 02:07 PM PST When we upgrade every year from iPhone to another is it a good idea to use a new iCloud name vs the old one? I remember Apple Support telling me it's a good idea every so many years not to use the iCloud backup file. It could be corrupt. [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 5c ‘Notes’ recovery with a broken screen! Posted: 06 Jan 2019 12:28 PM PST Hi all! So I recently broke my iPhone 5c screen and can no longer see anything except for a small area of the top left hand corner of the screen. It turns on and can be unlocked, and I can ask Siri to open different apps, but the speakers aren't working either, so I can't hear any response. I desperately need to recover my notes but I'm having difficulty. Anytime I plug it into my PC, if I try to open it in iTunes I get the 'invalid response received from device' message. If I open it as a drive in my computer, it shows the device as an 'Internal Storage' drive, which once I click into, opens a blank 'this folder is empty' window. Is there any way I can get my notes back without having to pay to replace the screen? I know I can get the phone fixed and get my notes back that way, but it's 80E I don't have to spend. Is there any third party app or some other way through my PC that I can access these files? I don't know anyone with an Apple TV so I can't screen share and view them that way (assuming I could manage to open the airplay and subsequent windows through the blacked out screen). Can I ask Siri to email all my notes to an email address? I can't see what Siri's response is after I ask that so I don't know if that will work, or what the screens/process is after asking.
