    I know there's little hope for a refresh of the SE but a man can dream! I'm curious to hear all of your thoughts about the SE2, whether it'll release, would you buy it, would it be a good move for Apple to release it, etc. I would personally buy it in a heartbeat with no hesitation, fingers crossed it'll release one day!

    Apple's Own Headphone Jack Adapter Displays "This Accessory May Not Be Supported" After OS Update

    I recently upgraded from a 6S to the XS. I was aware of the headphone jack issue but decided to stick with iPhone because of iTunes Match, ease of setup, and compatibility with AppleTV.

    I used the 3.5mm headphone adapter sold on Apple.com successfully for several weeks, but after updating to iOS 12.1.2, I receive the error message "This accessory may not be supported" after ~1.5 minutes of use.

    Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Does anyone know a solution?

    Apple, I get it. You want to make AirPods happen. But I don't like any of your earbud designs and the sound quality is just okay. I'd rather use my preferred brand. Audio isn't your game, OK? It's iPhones. Can you guys just let me keep using the thing you sold me?

    Occasional unresponsive screen after plugging in XS Max.

    Anyone ever run into a glitch where the phone becomes unresponsive after plugging in a charging cable?

    I plugged it in and set it down for a few seconds. Screen doesn't turn on when lifted up or tapping the screen. Holding the power and a volume button to activate the SOS call immediately wakes up the phone.

    Using official Apple charging cables if it matters.

    Took me 28 days and to scroll through various posts at 03;30 , but just realised how well Taptic works with the Reddit app,

    In general terms, I need to try and use this underrated feature far more than I do already 👌🏻

    Upgrading for a 6s, do I buy the iPhone X or XR?

    I can get an iPhone X for £799 from carphone warehouse or the XR from apple for £599 if I trade in my phone, or £749 without trade in.

    Main concern is the screen though, debating whether a better camera and processor is more important than an OLED screen (something I've always wanted)

    Any thoughts?

    Correcting Siri how to pronounce my name doesn’t apply after teaching her on 12.1.1

    Do iPhones get warm when charging?

    I have a 6s plus. I've recently taken a life proof case off for the first time since I got the phone.

    Now I notice the phone getting very warm when it's charging and I'm playing games on it (I play a lot of Icewind Dale and Word Crossy).

    Is this normal?

    Settings showing incorrect available space.

    I have a iPhone 8 Plus, running the latest update of iOS being 12.1.2, joined the beta program for iOS 12 beta when it came out and then left the program after the full thing came out. After updating my phone to the full iOS 12, I realised that the storage was saying I had 25GB of available storage, which I knew had to be incorrect as I have over 300 videos recorded in 4K 60. At this point I check a 3rd party app which allows you to see varies spec about your iPhone and it showed that I was getting close to full capacity. I already reset my phone on multiple occasions thinking it might just fix itself but it looks like nothing I've done so far has worked. Anyone know a fix?

    One specific iPhone never receives iMessages, converts to sms

    Super sorry if this has been asked and answered. I did a cursory search and couldn't find what I'm asking about.

    I have one person that I work with, iPhone 8plus just like me, that I text but the text I send him never go through as iMessage. He can send me an iMessage and picture and when I reply, it hangs before eventually being sent as sms. Even when it shows as sent through sms on my end, he doesn't always reliably receive it. It seems to happen on his end too but less frequently, he'll send something and it'll show it converted to sms but I never receive it. Happens if we are both in the same group text also. He's on Verizon and I'm AT&T but I have no issues with any other Verizon users.

    We've both reset our phones, carrier settings, iMessage, etc. Only additional issue is that we don't seem to pick each other up on airdrop but I'm aware that could be an entirely separate and easily fixed issue, just thought any info would help.

    Same phone: 8plus Same iOS: current Different carrier: (my) at&t and (his) Verizon

    Is my 7plus totaled due to rear camera and flashlight damage?

    Hi there,

    I recently dropped my iPhone 7plus. Even though, no visible damage is visible, the rear camera and the flashlight are not working. However, the photo lens (the second rear camera for zooming and DOF) is still intact as some apps seem to be able to use just the secondary lens.

    I tried to identify if this is a software error but fully resetting the iPhone didn't play ball. On several forums I red that it could be well a damage to the rear camera component including the flashlight. Moreover, it could also be a damaged motherboard or an interrupting power supply to the rear camera.

    Right now, I still don't know if this is worth trying to fix. As several reasons could be eligible for the damage, I believe that it could actually cost more than replacing the whole thing.

    I bought it back in October 2016, so it is more than two years old. Does anyone of you had a similar issue and/or what's your opinion on that?

    My new iphone 7 plus wont charge past 40%, what do i do?

    It just wont charge past 41 % I dont know the thing says the capacity is at 100% .

    It was a present to me from a friend in England. I live in Canada.

    Edit: I had the phone looked at. It was the charger. I just went to Sherway Gardens Apple store. They told me that i used a 3rd party Charger.

    Until IOS 12 i used to buy digital books and asked Siri to read them for me. Now only i can highlight a page or a paragraph and Siri can read it for me, same using websites. Do you guys know a trick to make Siri to read page after page? Or is no fix for this except to buy the audiobooks?

    PS: English is my second language, i hope make sense what i am asking. Thank you

    I tried to update my iPhone via iTunes after it was stuck in boot loop, but there was an error every time I tried it. Now the iPhone turns only into DFU mode. No more boot loop but no more iOS either.. how can I do it ? It's an iPhone XS help!

    Edit: the iPhone was running beta version of iOS 12.1.3
