[Discussion] 12.1.3 Beta 3 has fixed my wifi connectivity issues. Posted: 09 Jan 2019 05:06 AM PST I've had issues connecting to the 5 ghz band of my router since the launch of the Xs. I've spent a dozen hours with tech support, changed my router, moved my router, set the device up as new, and replaced the device. None of that fixed my issue. My device would drop wifi frequently, even though it showed full bars. I haven't dropped wifi on the 5 ghz band since updating to beta 3. Hopefully this translates to others as well! [Question] Does iOS 12.1.3 fix battery problems on the 8+? Posted: 09 Jan 2019 04:55 AM PST I avoided updating to iOS 12.1.2 after hearing the battery issues. Last night, iOS finally managed to nag me enough that I tapped on update. Sure enough, the battery of the phone is draining faster than expected. I left the phone at home and the battery went from 91% to 85% doing nothing over a 8 hour period. For those who think this is a battery issue or app problem, this is not true. The phone went from being perfectly fine till last night to draining battery unnecessarily. So I guess the question is if the battery situation shows any improvement with iOS 12.1.3? Thank you. [BUG] iMessage not sending photos Posted: 08 Jan 2019 09:12 PM PST Over the past few days, my iMessage has suddenly become HORRIBLE at sending photo messages. The messages before and after send and deliver, but the photos themselves won't send for hours, regardless of sending as a text, restarting, turning off Live Photos, etc. Anyone else experiencing this or have any advice? (Latest beta & previous beta both have this problem) [link] [comments] |
