Posted: 08 Jan 2019 07:36 AM PST I bought an iPod touch which i gave my nephew for christmas I installed some games, movies etc and then removed my icloud account from it Now it still shows up on my devices in icloud tabs (See image below) Does anyone know how to remove it without removing icloud tabs entirely? | Posted: 08 Jan 2019 07:19 AM PST I have had auto app update off for a while because I didn't like some updates breaking apps. But I've been getting tired of the new trend where apps force you to update to use them if they are old. Anyway I turned auto update on yesterday and the first thing it did was start auto updating all my apps this morning as soon as I unplugged it from the charger. I remember it doing this before and that was another reason I turned it off. Why does it not auto update all night long when plugged in?! Posted: 07 Jan 2019 07:28 PM PST I have not been getting any notifications for new voicemails nor are they appearing under visual voicemail. In fact it tells me "No voicemail" on the voicemail tab when I definitely do have saved messages and new messages. I missed a call about a job offer and luckily they emailed me as well as left a voicemail, but had I not seen the email, I would have missed out on a job... kinda crappy. | My GPS hasn't been working when using Maps Posted: 07 Jan 2019 11:26 AM PST This is the same for Google maps, (what I usually use), as well as Apple maps and Waze. For the last few weeks, if I look up a route on the map, it shows me where I am pretty well, but as soon as I start to drive, my location just kind of freezes and jumps around to random places. It makes it nearly impossible to use any GPS, because suddenly it'll think I'm a mile away from where I am. I'm always missing turns and getting lost. I'm about to move to another country, and I would hate to be getting lost every time I go out. I need to know if I am going to have to buy a whole new phone before I move. I have an iPhone 6, and I'm on ios 12.1.2. I think my husband already restored my network settings, and it didn't do anything. Please help me! Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]  | ||

Question is, if someone knows my AppleID email (but doesn't know password), and somehow can recieve sms codes, could he got access to my iCloud data and AppleID settings? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 07 Jan 2019 11:23 AM PST I own an iPhone 7+, with IOS version 11.3. Today, I received a call, and I wish I could show a picture but it might reveal some personal info. Anyway, this scared me quite a bit. Instead of a normal number, the call said something like V324890924..., with exactly 15 characters after the V. It didn't show anything else, just a 'slide to answer screen', and the entire top of it was covered in these weird-ass symbols. When I go on my recent calls and check, it is labeled as 'Unknown Caller'. Can't text it, call back, add to contacts... nothing. A google search doesn't turn up any info, neither does looking for what this all means online. Can any IOS expert tell me if this is a glitch, or am I free to freak the hell out? | iCloud photo syncing between iPhone and iPad issues Posted: 07 Jan 2019 08:41 AM PST I have an iPad 2018 (iOS 12.1.1) and an iPhone XR (iOS 12.1.1), and I have icloud syncing my photos between them both. iCloud photo library is turned on. I believe photo stream is as well. There is plenty of space in my iCloud. However, sometimes it takes days to sync a photo i take on one onto the other, and I am wondering how I can trigger them to sync immediately, or stop this delay? Thanks [link] [comments]  |
