    Does charging Apple Pencil 2 on an 11” iPad Pro drain the iPad battery faster?

    I don't know if i'm imagining things but it seems like the new 11" iPad drains faster when the pencil is magnetically attached. My understanding was that the pencil stopped charging when it hit 100% but perhaps I'm mistaken?

    Cheapest possible iPad + apple pencil?

    Hi everyone,

    I am a freshman in college and I am looking for an apple pencil and iPad that is compatible with the Apple pencil. This would mainly be used for note taking and maybe watching videos. Where could I buy the cheapest iPad and apple pencil? Size, year, and capacity does not matter and I do not mind buying used as long as the screen works.

    Also, how good is the palm rejection when writing with the apple pencil? I am slightly heavy-handed when writing.

    How to turn off an apple pencil? (1st gen)

    Hey! I just got a 6th gen iPad with an Apple pencil for Christmas and I was wondering how can I turn off my apple pencil?🙃 The battery of it drains very fast so I tried to turn off the bluetooth from my iPad but it didn't worked... I never owned an iPad before so please, be gentle.

    What are good websites, communities, YouTube channels... to learn how to draw using iPad? Preferably with ProCreate.

    Scratches on screen, brand new...

    Merry Christmas to all first & foremost.

    So sadly I opened my brand new 2018 iPad Pro 12.9", and was happy to see that there was no bend. However, possibly worse, there's a nice solid 0.5" scratch on the screen, lovely. How does this crap happen? Like honestly unacceptable for a $1000+ device. But don't worry, at least the packaging experience was beautiful and exciting to open.

    Anyways, my question is, can I at least use and play with it for the day until I go and exchange it tomorrow?

    Apple Pencil 2nd Gen not pairing after 12.1.1

    I'm not sure if anyone else has had a similar problem to this, but I figured this would be the right place to post. Recently got the iPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen and the new Apple Pencil and now for some reason the pencil won't charge or pair to the iPad. Everything was working smooth until I updated to the new IOS update. If anyone has a similar problem or knows fixes please help! Thank you!

    I have a 2016 9.7 Pro with iOS 11.4.1. I want to buy a 10.5 pro with 11.2.5. Will it restore from backup to that okay?

    Long story short, i have an app that is not compatible with ios 12 that i want to keep using (alien blue)

    Will the app install okay from backup?

    Will it tell me I need to update the ipad first when i try and restore from backup?

    Is there a way to update the 11.2.5 10.5 pro to 11.4.1?

    Reading ePub on ipad

    I have many files that are on PDF that I would like to read on my ipad, but the text on PDFs are too small and I can't really resize the text in PDF while reading. Is there any way I can convert the PDF files to ePub instead? Thank you!

    Hello,

    I would like to get an iPad and use it almost exclusively for self paced learning in the field of engineering. I am an engineer and I will use the iPad to keep up with the developments in the field of work and learn new things. Should I get a new iPad 2018, a new pencil and a new cover or a used iPad Pro 12.9" 1th gen, a used pencil and a used cover? Prices are roughly the same and both are the 128GB versions. The new stuff will be bought from the store with warranty. The used stuff is from a local seller whom I don't know (found the ad on the internet). It has no warranty and was bought in 2016.

    Normally I would get the iPad 2018 but I am thinking about the split screen option and the fact that I could have a YouTube video or PDF file on half the screen and take notes on the other half. I am worried that the 9.7" iPad would be too small for this.

    I do not care about performance. I am sure that both will be more than adequate for what I want. I am worried that the used stuff will have pretty used batteries and will generally not last as long as the new iPad and pencil.

    Good but cheap/free drawing apps

    I gave my 10 year old daughter an iPad 6 and a Pencil for Christmas. I'm having a hard time finding a decent drawing app that doesn't require a subscription to use. I'd like something that is either free and decent, or good and only requires a one time, reasonably priced in app purchase (or app purchase).

    iPad 10.5 pro battery life poor

    So I just got a 10.5 iPad and the battery life seems to be quite poor coming from an iPad 4. The screen time I'm getting is around 4 hours... some videos/music/pdf reading mostly. I checked the battery health and it's at 100 percent. Any ideas what it could be?

    As is tradition, we're back to say THANK YOU again to this amazing community and give away some codes to get rid of ads. Ever since we released our little game - Sudoku Master Edition, the support feedback, and suggestions we received from fellow Redditors have been overwhelming.

    Today, we'd like to announce Version 5.0 - which will bring some (much requested) cool features to your iPads and iPhones, such as:

    • Apple Pencil 2 support: you can now switch from Note to Input mode by simply double-tapping the side of your Apple Pencil 2.
    • We re-vamped our algorithm from the ground up. Hard puzzles are harder, and 100% consistent. You'll now have to rely on multiple techniques to solve puzzles, such as X-Wing, Swordfish, Forcing Chains, etc.
    • We added a "Screen Always On" option to the Settings.
    • We (finally) sorted out the Force Touch bug, and it's working as intended.

    The final built has been submitted & approved, and we'll release it one week from today!

    Do I need an Ipad?

    Hello there!!

    I am a student and I hesitate to buy an Ipad.. I've got a Macbook Air 2013, an Iphone and a Apple Watch. My MacBook Air is very old and gets slower and slower but it still works and I wanna keep it for personal reasons. I like Ipad but it seems useless to me by The fact that I don't often travel and I am usually at home to study.

    Why should I buy an Ipad?

    Maybe a dumb question, but I recently won an iPad.

    Which is great, because I wanted to buy an eReader after Christmas. So I've converted all my PDFs to books to read on my iPad, but that seems like I'm wasting the potential of this device. (I also play a lot of restaurant story now, but that's besides the point).

    What else can I use an iPad for? Moreso in ways that I can improve myself/my productivity.

    Would anyone have any good recommendations for apps or things to do that can utilize it? Or any good games either?

    I'd like to use it for next semester in college after watching some youtube videos of how great they can be for note taking. I plan on buying it with just wifi only, but would 64 gb be enough? I don't plan on doing anything else with it other than notetaking, downloading books, and streaming netflix maybe. Also, where should I buy it from where I'll be getting the best deal? Thank you
