    There should be an option to no show characters in the password field, especially when the Smart Keyboard Folio is connected.

    I absoluteluy hate when I have to type in a password or confidential field on my iPad and each character is shown on the screen as I type. If I am not at home alone I have to constantly check for shoulder surfers. I type fast enough and I'm not too concerned about people tracking my fingers on the keyboard but I'd feel much more comfortable not having each character of my passsword flash across the screen, especially within the Smart Keyboard Folio when my display is propped up so people sitting behind me on the train or at a coffee shop can see it easily.

    I've pretty much replaced my personal MacBook with this iPad Pro and my two biggest complaints would have to be mobile sites loading in Safari with dumb App Store redirects, and then this passsword character showing.

    I already submitted feedback to Apple, this is just me venting to reddit.

    iPadPro3: iPhoto splitting long GoPro video clips when importing.

    When importing 24 and 54 minute long 1080p / 30 video clips onto iPhoto they were split into multiple files which were 11:48:21 plus another for any remainder; e.g, the first 24 min. clip was imported as 2 x 11:48:12 + a third 43 sec segment.

    No content was lost when spliced back together editing in LumaFusion but it is more cumbersome dealing with the extra clips.

    Why is iPhoto splitting the long files? I have iCloud storage / back-up turned off for iPhoto

    Is it me or the app?

    I recently got a 2018 9.7" iPad.

    Downloaded Sketchbook and GoodNotes. However I'm noticing that my handwriting sometimes seems better on Sketchbook than on GoodNotes.

    Is there a specific setting I should look into, or fix? Or should I switch to Notability?

    I just bought a new cellular iPad Pro 11" 64 gb for the price of the wifi version. What can I do with the cellular version of the new iPad Pro that I can't do with the Wi-Fi version? I know that I can put a SIM card in it and use mobile data plan. But can I receive calls or call others on it? And how this this work exactly, do I need to buy a new sim card with a data plan or can I somehow use the same card with the iPad and my phone? Can I maybe sync the phone with blutooth so I can receive calls there while th SIM card is in the iPad? What else can I do?

    Anybody else try the Tech Armor clear film for the new Pros?

    I'm usually a loyal customer of Tech Armor and their PET film protector, but I'm kind of pissed about this. I put it on and there's a weird faint rainbow line, you can only see it in certain light which unfortunately my workplace is entirely such. It's very distracting, I tried to get a picture but it's hard to capture on camera.

    Both of the protectors in the pack had this line, I figured maybe the first one was defective but sure enough it was on the second too. It's not on the iPad itself, I checked before putting the second one on. I emailed Tech Armor and they said to wait a week and see if it goes away. It's plastic film, it's not going to go away. This makes me want to just look at another brand if that's how they respond. Has anyone else tried these and if so, have this line?

    I've ordered a 5-pack of a brand called SMAPP which is new to me, more Tech Armors (because I'm curious if I just had a bum pack), and the Amfilms which will probably be the best but won't get here until around New Years.

    What case keeps the new iPad Pro from bending?

    I have already returned my 2017 iPad Pro and plan to get the new ones before Winter Quarter starts, but I'm really concerned about it bending since I like to throw my iPad and MacBook Pro (2015) in the same padded compartment of my bag. What case keeps the integrity of the new iPad's body in spite of rough storage?
