| Posted: 30 Dec 2018 03:50 AM PST Hi Just got an ATV 4K for Xmas and trying to figure my streaming options with it. I used to use a Roku streaming stick+ to stream stuff thru my android device from apps such as Cyberflix and HD Movies casting with Web Video Caster. I was hoping to eliminate the Roku and have the ATV do all of this now. Have tried but not with any success. Is it even possible to do or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance. | Wifi connectivity issue with Apple TV 4K? Posted: 30 Dec 2018 01:30 AM PST This is an ongoing problem for us... possibly because we have Australian internet, but here goes: Every now and again our Apple TV stops streaming whatever we're watching. Whether it's Netflix, Stan, whatever. We check the network connection and it says connected with full strength (unfortunately the router is about 10 metres away from our Apple TV so it can't connect directly, it has to be wireless). We've tried switched to and from the 5ghz WiFi connection but that has he same issue and sometimes doesn't even show up on the list of connections. Other devices like our phone, laptop and tablet don't have this connection issue. Anyone else have this and have found a long term solution at all? It's so frustrating! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Apple TV 4 taking screenshots with remote? Where do they go? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:38 AM PST I've had an Apple TV 4 for a while now. Love the Siri remote and the App Store. However, one thing confuses me. Sometimes I'll see a message that a screenshot has been taken. This message appears in the upper right, where sports notifications and such sometimes appear. I have no idea how screenshots are being taken. I assume I'm accidentally hitting some button combination on the remote, but nothing I've tried has replicated it. I tried looking it up online, but everything I read says you have to use a Mac with Xcode to grab screenshots from the Apple TV, so what are these notifications about screenshots I keep getting? If they are being taken, where are they going? They arent in my iCloud Photo Library. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Netflix interferes with screensaver Posted: 29 Dec 2018 04:17 PM PST Was curious if anyone else had this issue and a solution where Netflix either entirely prevents the screensaver from turning on or will stop the screensaver after a minute or two on its own. [link] [comments]  |
