Any good Apple TV deals anymore? Posted: 03 Dec 2018 02:02 AM PST I noticed DirecTV is no longer offering their Apple TV 4K deal. Does anyone know of any other good deals out there for the Apple TV? [link] [comments]

Is there an easy way to get cctv feed on Apple TV? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 06:38 PM PST Is there an easy/cheap/reliable way to get a CCTV feed on apple tv? I'm hoping that I will get a recommendation for a 1080p wireless camera with good wireless range and an apple 4K tv application that I can use with. I don't have to record anything, nothing fancy. Just quality video feed on apple tv. Thank you in advance. [link] [comments]
Bluetooth keyboard works with iPhone/iPad but not Apple TV 3? Posted: 02 Dec 2018 08:21 PM PST Hi everyone! I just bought a new keyboard a few days ago (a Logitech K600) that supports both bluetooth and Logitech's own proprietary Unifying tech.
Not super helpful. Does anyone know what version of bluetooth the Apple TV 3 uses? I'm still trying to get Logitech support to tell me what bluetooth version the K600 supports. I'm a bit confused as to why it doesn't work with the Apple TV 3. If a keyboard is bluetooth, shouldn't it work with all devices that support bluetooth keyboards? Isn't that the point of standards? From what Logitech support told me, it doesn't seem like it would work with the Apple TV 4 either. I'm a bit confused about all of this. [link] [comments]

Apple TV keeps crashing while using search or Siri Posted: 02 Dec 2018 03:03 PM PST Hello, I bought a new Apple TV 4 last week on Black Friday. Whenever I search for certain movies or shows (e.g. The Grinch (2018) or Prison Break) and select it, the TV crashes back to the homescreen. My Apple TV behaves the same when I do a search with Siri and select a certain movie/show. My Apple TV language is set to Dutch. What I tried: - Restart though the settings. - Restart by pulling the pulling the power cable. - A factory reset plus update. - Searched the web for the same problem. Does anybody have the same problem or know a solution to my situation? Sorry for grammatical errors, but English is not my native language. [link] [comments]
Remote streaming of a 4k movie Posted: 02 Dec 2018 11:42 AM PST I have a remote server with a 20 gbps internet connection, and in my house I have a 100 mbit internet connection. I connect to the shared folder on the remote server with a FTP connection. When I try to start a 4k movie or a 1080p movie on my AppleTV 4k at home, it is very slow to start, and it is buffering all the time. If I try to watch a 4k or 1080p movie on my iPhone on the same network, it works perfectly. I can use airplay to watch a 4k movie on my TV, and this works perfect. Why does it work perfect on my iPhone, and not on my AppleTV 4k? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Dec 2018 09:06 AM PST I've been trying to find fun ways for my kids to play games on the Apple TV. We currently have two 4th gen Apple TVs in different rooms. I was wondering if there was a way to link the two of them together so each kids can play against each other in the same game, like Beach Buggy (or whatever it's called) and not have to do the split-screen function, but have their own screen and gamepad. Is that even possible on Apple TVs? [link] [comments] |
