Has anyone ordered the new iPad Pro off Amazon? Posted: 20 Nov 2018 11:08 AM PST I know Apple and Amazon struck a deal to allow Apple to officially sell their products on the Amazon store. I just worry about how these things are being stored and handled vs coming from Apple directly. Did anyone order one of the new iPad Pros from Amazon because they have them in stock for next day delivery? [link] [comments]

iPad Pro 2018 to LG Ultrafine 4K Posted: 20 Nov 2018 04:58 AM PST Has anyone tried this yet? I know the iPad Pro can not connect to the 5k 27" monitor but according to this article it says it will work with the 21.5" 4K model? I am curious to know. I'll have the monitor on Dec 4th and will do a test and let you know my findings if no one else has tried this yet to confirm. pic of website saying it's possible [link] [comments]
As a music producer, what can the iPad do for me? Posted: 20 Nov 2018 10:48 AM PST So I've recently purchased the new iPad Pro 11 and have been searching for ways as to how this will benefit me as a music producer. To be clear, I want to use this together with my computer instead of using it to replace it. I've played around with beatmaker 3 and while it was good, I still much prefer creating on my DAW on my computer. So far I've found a really good app called polyplayground which allows me to use the iPad as a midi. But what more can I use this for? [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Nov 2018 07:52 AM PST Anyone else feel like their 2018 iPad Pro not responding like it should? I got mine yesterday and noticed it when I was typing on the onscreen keyboard. Some keys didn't register the first time I typed them; I noticed it multiple times on the I / K / T / W keys. I hope it's all in my head and I'm just paranoid due to my recent iPhone X touch screen replacement issue. Small side note, does anyone else's buttons feel "loose"? Usually my apple products are pretty solid but the power/volume buttons already feel wiggly on the first day of use.... I guess I just feel if i buy a premium device, it's gotta be pretty close to perfect and not just "good enough". [link] [comments]
11” iPad Pro vs 12.9” iPad Pro from a guy with kids and not using it for college Posted: 20 Nov 2018 01:46 PM PST So I am posting this in case there are people out there that are still trying to decide which new iPad Pro they want. I had 10.5, then went to the new 12.9 and back to the new 11". Yes I know, probably didn't need the newest one but gave my old one to my Dad who needed a new one. Also have an iPad Air 2 and 2nd gen 12.9 that my kids use so I think I have used enough of them to make an educated opinion. So I guess the main thing for me that made up my mind was the size (as is the case obviously with most everyone). But when I mean size, not just considering the size of the screen but the other things that maybe you don't think about when you buy it because the screen just engulfs you. In bed I thought the 12.9 was terribly cumbersome even with the new redesign. And due to the weight I found myself having to prop my knees to handle it for a long period of time. Neither the Smart Keyboard, and folio really helped since no where on my body is flat enough for it to sit comfortably. Other people may have difference opinions, just my thought. Comparing to the old size, yes there is a big difference in size but not enough in my opinion to take the 12.9 to the point of being super portable or even really portable at all. It is still very large overall even with the smaller bezels. Basically if you are going to sit at a desk or on the couch and never leave your house with it, then it makes sense to go with this one if you can afford the price difference. Overall it's an amazing device just the portability of the 11" almost in every situation is so much better in every way in my opinion. The difference in weight was a huge thing for me. I watched a lot of reviews before buying and everyone said the big feels great in your hand to hold and use, and I think that's just bullshit unless you are holding for about 2 minutes or less. With the smaller bezels is also makes the holding area much smaller and hard to distribute the weight evenly to where it's comfortable to hold. I literally read a book just before posting this with the 11" I just got and I held it for a solid 30 minutes without any issues or cramping hands. As far as uses go, I use mine to watch Netflix, stuff like that. I do take a lot of notes during the day for work while sitting at my desk and found the 11" or 12.9 meets these needs very well. The extra size of the 12.9 helped a bit but not enough to make me choose it over the 11". Last thing is going from 10.5 to 11, a lot of people I think may be wondering if it's worth taking the plunge. In my opinion just from an aesthetic stand point without considering the slightly bigger screen, the 11" is so much better and the thinness of it helps a lot with the weight and handling so much compared to the 10.5. I think that's about all I got, this is the first one I have ever done of these so take it easy on me. If anyone has any specific questions or anything I'll be checking the comments/inbox frequently so I'll try to answer what I can. [link] [comments]
Buy 2018 iPad or wait for 2019 model? Posted: 20 Nov 2018 01:36 PM PST Hey guys, So I'm looking to buy a new iPad and even though the new Pro came out recently I'm really not the target market for it. I will be able to buy a new iPad in December/January and then all the way in July/August. My question is should I buy the 2018 9.7" iPad in January, or get the 2019 9.7" model which would presumably come out in March all the way in July? Thanks. [link] [comments]

iPad Pro 11 case for note taking Posted: 20 Nov 2018 01:11 PM PST I use my iPad Pro 11 mostly for note taking and really need a case now. Do you guys have any recommendation for a good case serving this purpose regarding the possible positions of the iPad? [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Nov 2018 01:00 PM PST Hi everyone. I recently tried to erase my son's iPad mini as he was no longer interested in it. He couldn't remember the passcode. I tried to do a restore in iTunes but it did not work. Now the iPad says it is disabled and to connect to iTunes. I tried everything to resolve this. I realized after doing research that my son had the activation lock on it. So we removed the iPad from his iCloud. However the recovery still does now work. I tried a third party product called imazing and it can see the iPad but it's recovery didn't work either. Can anyone suggest how to unbrick this iPad? Thank you very much [link] [comments]

How would I make a tennis court layout for Notability? Posted: 20 Nov 2018 06:32 AM PST Notability's Paper Pack has basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball. What would be the best way to go about making one for a tennis court? Is there any particular program I need to use to just draw a template and save to PDF? [link] [comments]
