    Like the title says , due to some circumstances ( fortunate one's ) I have two iPhone's now. My main one is a iPhone SE ( 32GB ) which I intend on keeping as the other one is an iPhone 6 ( 16 GB ). I got the iPhone 6 from a relative but I don't know what to use it for ? I can't give it back or sell it. I have to keep it because I don't want to seem disrespectful to this person. I also don't wanna sell my SE ( love that little monster ) so suggest me some creative uses for my phone ?

    ( First world problems , I know lol )

    I will :/ I use it for quickly reading emails in the notification bar, checking texts without tripping read receipts, opening safari on a new tab, use it on the keyboard for the free-hand cursor, and sooo much more. Plus the haptic feedback is satisfying af

    How soon are new iphones available after announcement (Apple Upgrade Question)

    I really like the iPhone 8 Plus and I want to get it through the Apple upgrade program. However, I know that they are releasing new iPhones soon. I certainly will not be spending more than the $40 a month, so the two upgraded iPhone Xs are out of the question for my price range. But I also know a cheaper one is being released but am I wrong in thinking the predicted specs look slightly worse than the 8+?

    Anyways, my main question is whether the 8+ will be removed from the Upgrade program on the 12th, as soon as the new ones are announced? I would like to wait to see what the cheaper one really is but I don't want to miss out on the iPhone 8+ with its potentially better camera than the new one (My main concern is the camera). Should I gamble and wait or just buy what I think I want now?

    What happens when you dont have space in your homescreen?

    I just want to know a question that hasn't let me sleep in weeks.

    What happens when you have all your homescreen filled with folders. These folders are filled with apps to the max. So theres is literally no more space in your homescreen.

    Now what happens if you download a app from the appstore. Where does the icon go.

    Please this is urgent. I need to know

    Note: I dont have every space used. In fact i only use 4 pages. But i just want to know what would happen

    People who use separate iPhones for work and personal use, do you use the same iCloud ID? Or do you have separate IDs?

    I am considering on reviving an older iPhone I have in storage as a personal phone while I use my current one for work.

    What would be the best way to make this work on one ID? I would rather not have to re-purchase my apps.

    iOS 11 Notification center bug

    I have a bug with notification center that won't close itself after clicking on a notification and I have to swipe it up myself (app opens, just behind notification center).

    This problem started since the first iOS 11 version and it was very often in first few versions (maybe until iOS 11.1) and then it was happening very rarely until iOS 11.3 (started to happening very often again).

    I just wondered does anybody else has this bug, because nobody complained about it. And does iOS 12 solves this?

    Overcast app issues

    I've switched from the default podcast app to Overcast after a bunch of bugs. Several of my subscribed podcasts won't play or download but others play just fine. I already tried unsubscribing, turning off my phone, reinstalling the app but none has worked. When I checked the default podcast app, these podcasts won't play too, displaying the message "This episode is currently unavailable".

    I've listened to these podcasts on a web browser so I know the episodes themselves should be up and running. Anyone know a fix? Thanks in advance!

    My iPhone just restarted for no reason?

    I'm using the latest beta of iOS 12 and I just noticed my 6s restarted for no reason

    It was at 30% battery, not charging, and it's 18:25 here so not in sleep period

    Since the latest update Camera won’t focus at all and so cannot take pictures.

    So I received a notification friday night about a new software update and when I got home today I went ahead and updated my phone. Since the update my front camera refuses to focus at all, the selfie camera is working perfectly well, but the other refuses to focus. To be clear I'm using an iPhone 8 Plus and am on the latest software update, has anybody else experienced this? I restarted the phone and yet nothing seems to be changing. Could anybody share some advice or will I have to go to a genius bar to sort this out?

    Edit: I am on 11.4.1

    Also doing some testing, portrait mode functions as expected but otherwise it won't work.

    Edit 2: Resolved the issue, I put it to charge and for some reason that triggered it to focus again, it's overexposing but otherwise focussing so if anybody else gets the issue I hope this helps.

    iPhone 8+ Mic doesn't work only on Facetime Audio.

    I have iPhone 8+ which I bought early this year but rarely uses since I have too many phones.

    Yesterday, I found the microphone on my iPhone 8+ doesn't work on Facetime Audio because other person couldn't hear me. Not sure how long it's been like that, but certainly no longer than 2 months.

    So I tried other apps which use microphone to figure out whether it's a hardware problem or not and every microphone in this iPhone work normally on every other apps, including regular call, Skype Video/Audio, Siri, voice recorder, front facing video recording, rear facing video recirdung, etc.

    It seems the microphone only refuses to work on Facetime (either Facetime Audio and Facetime Video). Hence, I tried obvious things to resolve the software problem, including

    • turning off Bluetooth

    • restarting the phone

    • logging in and out from Facetime or Apple ID

    • removing and reinstalling the facetime

    • combination of above

    • resetting all settings

    But nothing works. No mic on Facetime Video/Audio while it works normally on every other apps.

    As there is no other option exist except the full reset, I tried 'reset all settings and contents' and restore the phone from iCloud backup. Finally, the microphone started to work when I use Facetime Video, but still it's not working on Facetime Audio.

    Any suggestions? Maybe DFU recover?

    Differences in iPhone bought in China?

    Maybe somebody can shine a light on this topic for which I haven't found good info on the web:

    I am posted to China and think about upgrading my iPhone (to the X or it's successor). If I buy the iPhone here in China, will it technically be any different than the ones bought in Europe or the US? Will it be easier for the Chinese government to surveil it; any specific backdoors rumored? Does it work with non Chinese iTunes accounts (and allows storage of data outside China?).

    Hope this was not asked many times before - but if somebody has reliable info on this it would be greatly appreciated!
