Games with puzzle and dragon’s “orb” mechanic.

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 07:12 PM PDT

I've tried googling / searching but I can't seem to find a game that is similar to PAD in terms of mechanics. I want a game that uses their "move the orb" type of puzzle as opposed to traditional match 3. Does anyone know of games that are like this?

I feel like this is much more skill based as opposed to normal match 3.

How many freemium games sabotage themself by being too greedy.

    Posted: 02 Sep 2018 07:33 AM PDT

I like playing superheroes games and rpg games . Played a game called mff ( marvel future fight) . The game was good the developers NetMarble were professional and responsive to gamers demands and critic ( little bumps on the road and one large crisis dealt with). MFF generate between 3.5-4 million benefit per month and with Marvel franchize and go strong for yeardms. After two years , two superheroes games with a lot of promise shown up DC unchained and Marvel Strike Force . Both seems to be sinking right now even with holding the best franchise in game industry being Marvel and DC.

First Marvel Strike was good in beta but at released it got very horrible very quickly. They would sell same packages at different prices ; starve players from ressources making it impossible to advance ; offer horrible pricy offers ; make events that impossible to complete . Everything to frustrate the players. They had an policy to hunt whales and offer to them only. From what I ve seen they lost half their monthly benefits and reddit / MSF talk about how much players are quitting and even whales stop financing the game.

DC unchained seems to be running out of money ; even players are saying the dev are sabotaging the game because they can't afford the franchise. Grind is being harder and rewards are being reduced. Updates are lacking and the globsl launch was never started. Their reddit sub is praticaly a ghost town.

So not very familiar on how freemium games and their companies function but I remarked a serious lack of planning and concentration on short term profit on long term one and durability. Both developers foxnet for MSF and 4:33 for unchained fucked up games that could generate millions in profit for years.

So how freemium game plan for games releases and profits or does they improvise with time ?. Does devellopers in freemium games cater for their own repuation if i acted in my business like these guys nobody would want to deal with me. Is it very usual the dev sabotage their own games ?

New to iOS gaming, where to start?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 09:24 PM PDT

    Hi everyone!

I just decided to get into gaming on iOS. I'm a bit late to the party, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend some must-haves. I'm a big fan of rpg/story based games with good progression, as well as shooters. However, recommend anything and everything! I'm excited to branch out

    MAME Emulation?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 07:03 PM PDT

As the title suggests, is there any arcade/MAME emulator out there for iOS (preferably one that supports the iPhone X)?

Please help me remember the iOS game?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 10:00 PM PDT

It was a twin stick shooter, kinda cartoonish. One stick moved you, and the other was to shoot and the direction. I remember there was 'waves' of enemies, and you could do an endless mode if you wanted. I believe it was two brothers that were the characters, and maybe you could upgrade them? Please help.

Thoughts on Adventure Time's Card Wars Kingdom?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 12:52 PM PDT

I've been in an Adventure Time mood lately since the show is ending soon, wanted some AT games to play on my phone, I was dissapointed with the recent AT Bloons TD. The old AT Run is unpolished and just buggy as heck, the same goes for AT Champions and Challengers, and I'm not a big fan of the Puzzle Quest series.

I used to play a ton of the first Card Wars on my crappy android tablet, but since that game didn't sync the save with anything, I lost my progress when I had to factory reset the tablet, then lost all interest in going back to it.

I've been playing the sequel, Card Wars Kingdom, having a good time, but wanted to know if it's worth it, or if the game gets too greedy down the line (wouldn't surprise me being F2P), but if at least I can grind to alleviate it, I don't mind.

EDIT: Also, the game is kind of abandoned (at least 1 year without an update), and apparently the devs are unresponsive about giving the game more support, don't know if this affects the game or if it's in a good place even without the updates.

Has anyone played “Machines at War 3 RTS”?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 10:43 AM PDT

I'm a huge fan of the Land, Air, Sea Warfare game made by the same developer, so I was wondering if this game is just as good if not better. I'm also a fan of the Command and Conquer series on PC. Is this a somewhat reasonable substitute on the go (I know iOS controls can never replace pc controls but still)?

Any Kingdom/expansion games where I won’t get attacked by other players?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 07:33 PM PDT

I'm looking for a game where I simply mine and can expand without having to worry about losing my resources every time I get attacked.

How to remove Piano Tiles 2 Ads?

    Posted: 01 Sep 2018 02:11 PM PDT

I noticed in the in-app purchases listed in the appstore it says $2.99 to remove ads. But I don't see it in Piano Tile 2 interface. Where is the option to remove them?

The game is very good but has way too many ads and popups every time you finish a game.
