    [HELP] Used iPhone X resolution on my 7 with upscale and now my screen is screwed up.

    Hi, as title says, I used iPhone X resolution on my 7 with upscale and now my screen is totally black and unresponsive.

    Is there any way I can go back to normal resolution without restoring? I tried so far hard reset but upscale still works although not in jailbroken mode.

    Im on iOS 11.3.1 though. Thank you!

    Mmmmkay time to explain some shit.

    Somebody got into our VPS server.

    From there they fucked around and changed our site. After some research there is NO IP LOGGER on the site. The visitorIPHOST.js.php file that is present is an API used to display IPs on a webpage. Im guessing this was to make it look more legit but they are clearly just trolling.

    On top of this they used our server as some sort of botnet or botnet scanner. This basically blackboxed our entire VPS and we have lost all access to it.

    Going to figure out wtf is going on with digiocean support but idk if we can get the VPS back. Yes there is NSFW but no malicious content unless you are a good christian boy.

    Sorry bout that yall. But you have nothing to worry about as far as your privacy goes :)

    Why did I move repos?

    I wanted to have full control over my repo. I wasn't too fond of the obnoxious ads on the pages and the giant YouRepo logo right at the top. And they also made sure YouRepo is in the name of the source: "Patrick-Knauf Source - YouRepo" which you cannot change by the way. Along with other propaganda and the pages just looking ugly in general led me to decide to switch repos.

    I also wanted an excuse to have my own website

    Can I still use the old repo?

    I will be shutting down the old repo in about 2 weeks, and in that time it will not receive any updates for my tweaks.

    I'm exhausted with the Electra jailbreak but I can't live without it. I basically have to re-jailbreak every other day.

    According to Crash Reporter 'Messenger' is the culprit almost every time however, I have no idea what to do to fix the issue. Any help is appreciated.

    ​It has come to my attention that the main Auxilium page has been modified to show a fake FBI page with an NSFW background. It has also allegedly been logging IPs with it. I will not show the image (As I am pretty sure you are not aloud to do so on this subreddit).

    [Discussion] Data and WIFI Issues while jailbroken. (Verizon - messages not being delivered)

    The title really, I noticed yesterday and today my data was simply not working. Any message I sent was not delivered unless sent as an SMS, and even then the recipients only saw them hours after. This only seems to occur while jailbroken. Is this happening to anyone else?

    [Request] Touch ID as a home button without pressing it for iPhone 6

    I used to use Activator to have my Touch ID reader be my home button so I wouldn't have to press and click the home button to use it and could just tap. But for some reason on iOS 11 I get critical crashes on activator when putting Touch ID as my home button.

    It works for me, I tried stuff like jetslammed but it really doesn't work for me but putting my phone on safe mode works pretty well.

    [Discussion] What is everyone's opinion on the 3 different haptic keyboards?

    It's been almost a year, and we can say there are 3 serious haptic keyboards for those who enjoy haptic feedback while typing:

    1. HapticFeedback
    2. Haptic Keyboard
    3. TapticKeys

    I have used both Haptic Keyboard and HapticFeedback a lot.

    My opinions:

    Haptic Keyboard

    Pros:

    • has the best feel to it, in terms of how the haptic responds feels upon each keyboard stroke. Specifically, each stroke has just the right amount of feedback, where you feel the nice haptic "kick" to it, coupled with the fact that the duration of the feedback is very quick (around 4-5 milliseconds if I had to estimate a numerical value for it)
    • This reminds me most of a physical keyboard touch, where each keystroke gives you a good realistic feedback, but the duration is so perfect that it goes away just as fast as the sensation of typing on a real keyboard stroke on a mechanical key would. In terms of feel I love this keyboard.

    Cons:

    • We all know the con. When you type too quickly, there's that dreaded haptic feedback which feels like I'm appreciably wrecking my haptic engine and ruining my phone every time I experience that click.
    • It seems like when you type too fast: the feedback for your first keystroke hasn't finished its duration, and the 2nd keystroke's haptic feedback gets activated, and it compounds the haptic feedback -- giving you a really forceful and unpleasant feedback response that really feels like I'm wrecking something in my phone.
    • So this is a big deal breaker regardless of how amazing it feels otherwise. Because I need this phone to last me a few years, mans aren't rich enough to buy a new iphone after a year haha. And if I'm ruining my haptic engine the risk far outweighs the reward.
    • You can avoid that terrible compounded haptic by typing slower. But most of us type pretty fast, and I will not slow down my typing because a tweak can't handle my full speed. I'm not about that life personally.

    HapticFeedback

    Pros:

    • The customization options in this tweak are amazing. You can choose how long you want your haptic duration to last, and you can choose the intensity of the haptic feedback to match your preference.
    • Even at the highest haptic feedback setting, and decently long duration times, I have never felt any "compouding haptic feedback" from typing too quickly, which instantly makes this a much better alternative to haptic keyboard.
    • If one is (or at least feels like it is) ruining your haptic engine, and the other doesn't feel like it's causing it too much stress, the one with the less stress on the engine will win. Of course any regular use of the haptic engine will lower its life, so that's a tradeoff you gotta accept if you want the haptic feedback.

    Cons:

    • I can never get the settings of this tweak to match how clean and crisp the haptic feedback is for HapticKeyboard. At the highest feedback setting, it feels too strong compared to the perfect crisp key stroke of HapticKeyboard. At lower settings, it feels too weak where I miss the nice crisp response. And I can't seem to find my Goldilocks happy medium.
    • My problem with not finding that "perfect response" might be because the Haptic Feedback tweak's minimum duration setting is 6 milliseconds. This is why I would venture to guess that the haptic feedback of HapticKeyboard is less than 6 seconds, because it feels "perfect" to me where as Haptic Feedback feels slightly off even at my most optimal settings. If you lower the slider of the duration to below 6, the feedback response disappears altogether.

    TapticKeys

    • I had tried this tweak a few months ago when I first jailbroke my phone, when it was available for free as a beta release. When I tried it at that point, the feedback response was waaay too strong, and waaay too long in duration. Even at the lowest settings, it felt like a cheap old-school vibration response, and I could not stand feeling that every single keystroke, so I promptly deleted it.
    • Since then, the tweak is only available as a paid-tweak. I am really curious if Sparks has updated this so that it is more crisp and a quality feedback, or if it is still similar to how it was at beta release.
    • I know it's not too much money, but I really don't want to pay for a tweak just to see how it feels (especially since it felt bad for me personally) and if it still feels bad I am shit out of luck. Yeah the money isn't going to break my bank but I would still only pay developers for tweaks I actually use (shortlook / boxy 3 / lockplus / etc.) rather than pay to test out a tweak and then just delete it because it is not for me, you know?
    • If anyone can let me know their experinece with TapticKeys, whether it's different from the beta release in terms of the things I mentioned, and how it matches with the other 2 keyboards, I would really appreciate it.

    So these are my honest and in-detail thoughts about the 3 keyboards that we currently have access to. I would love to hear your thoughts if you feel differently, or anything you would add / change, and which tweak has your endorsement.
