Posted: 01 Aug 2018 11:28 AM PDT I have created a guidebook that breaks down each app and what it supports on my iPad Pro. So far, I have went through about 100 apps. This Google Spread Sheet will continue to be updated with more apps and their updates. Below are the line items I looked at: Developer Category In-App Purchase iPhone Support Apple TV Support Apple Watch Support iMessage Support Wallet Support Family Sharing Siri Support Change Icon Support Dark Mode Support Landscape Tilt Widget iCloud Backup (Coming Soon) Split Screen Support (Coming soon) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15-fx06FPwyMTEV8eNGnyrqZgdwcNdS84qLnbK3DmK94/edit?usp=sharing [link] [comments]

Anyway of making safari go fullscreen? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 08:11 AM PDT Not videos, but one tab taking the whole screen - getting rid of tab bars and address bar. Sorry, it seems a dumb question but I can't find a solution... [link] [comments]
Can you use a printer from a ipad? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 10:06 AM PDT I need a printer and the only thing I have in my house I a iPad Pro. Are there any printers I could buy that have Bluetooth or something for this? [link] [comments]
Any PDF reader that still works with iPad 1? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 12:13 PM PDT I had a 1st generation iPad that I used to read PDFs with an old version of GoodReader. That iPad broke so I got another 1st generation one. But I can't find an old version of GoodReader to download, and GoodReader 4 will not work on iOS 5.1.1. Same goes for iBooks and Adobe Acrobat. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]

Do you buy a Bluetooth keyboard for your ipad? Posted: 01 Aug 2018 01:46 AM PDT Just as the title, do you get a physical keyboard for the ipad? And do you think the keyboard will be needed? [link] [comments]
If you swapped your iPad Pro for the touch response issue, how is the new one? Posted: 31 Jul 2018 06:44 PM PDT My iPad Pro 12.9" (gen2) has the same touch screen issue as described in the few posts you may find if you search this sub for "iPad Pro touch". I've seen some of you have got a swapped one from Apple. Is the new one free of the issue? I have appointed a service in the Genius Bar. Before going there, I would like to know if the swap solved the issue. Also, I'm little worried that I may not be able to reproduce the issue there. I'd also like to know that your iPad Pro doesn't have the issue. A good post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ipad/comments/8tzl3x/ipad_pro_2_129_periodic_touch_issue/?st=JKAMQ61D&sh=d9d595b0 It seems a hardware issue. [link] [comments]
Need advice for iPad setup or apps for elderly use. Posted: 31 Jul 2018 09:20 PM PDT My grandparents have just got free internet where they live and so wanted to get a tablet, we got them an ipad which for things like the camera and kindle app everything is fine. However they are having difficulty using the Youtube app and the browser. Are their any alternative apps for Youtube anyone who can suggest to make it easier to use? The youtube app has to many steps for my grandparents to follow. and even simple things like going full screen in youtube is a pain as the "enlarge" button only stays on screen for 1-2 secs when they tap the screen which is not long enough at all! Not the mention half of the icons and buttons in the app are way to small for them to accurately press or even see. The other issue is the browser, currently I have just made direct short-cuts to Google Images for example so they can just press the link and go right to the page. But on occasions they get "lost" in internet pages and they cant figure out how to get back to what they were looking at. Im not sure how well Siri would be as an alternative to an app, they tried it for a little bit but were kind of frustrated using it as they cant get their heads around how to talk to siri without confusing it, or it misunderstanding what they are asking. Any tips or advice would be great! [link] [comments]
Thinking of getting an iPad to use Garageband with my Novation Launchkey Mini. Posted: 31 Jul 2018 11:26 PM PDT I'm wondering if it's possible at all with a cable? And more importantly, which iPad is the best for this use case? I was eyeing the 2018 iPad. Cheers! [link] [comments]

ipad Pro 12.9 (2015) or the ipad 9.7 (2018) Posted: 31 Jul 2018 06:59 PM PDT I have the iPad pro 12.9 (2015 version) and I'm thinking getting the 9.7 (2018) however is my 12.9(2015 version) better than the 9.7 spec wise and is it faster? Is the screen resolution the same? Is there a way I can compare the both? I am not very tech savvy and I'm a noob when it comes to comparing and looking and specs etc Appreciate everyone's help 😆 [link] [comments]

New to Apple - Already own a high-end PC and now thinking of buying an ipad 2018 Posted: 31 Jul 2018 04:41 PM PDT Since my old laptop died, I've been thinking of getting a secondary device. My phone is a mid range android and I'm quite happy with it. I've never had an apple product before and I'm really uncertain of how it will feel. I'd never buy an imac, since I consider a good windows pc essential for the things I do. What I need is basically something to watch stuff while on the couch, browsing and I also love art, even though I am still a beginner, so I was even considering of getting the pencil. Also, I travel a bit, so it being relatively small and lightweight helps a lot. Most other tablets below 500 don't seem to be nearly as good and I really don't need a laptop, since I can do anything in my PC, from gaming to work stuff. I just wanna ask how easy it's going to be for me to get used to an apple device, if I should go for it and how's the compatibility between it and a windows PC. One other thing, how long is this device's life? I always imagined apple products to last, at least more than cheap/mid-range tablets and laptops that is. Wouldn't wanna have to buy a new one after 1 or 2 years. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Jul 2018 03:22 PM PDT Every time I add a clip to iMovie, the app always adds the dissolve transition between every clip. It's easy to remove it, but when I have 100 clips on it, I painstakingly have to go one-by-one and change it to NONE-transition. Is there a setting to make the NONE setting permanently?
