    Okay so....I don't know what to make of this or what to do. Maybe someone can shed some insight or advice. Here's the timeline of events...

    July 19 - On my way home from work I get a barrage of emails from AT&T about my "Order Update". It must have been 84 in a row. Also, one from Apple in regards to an iTunes gift card purchase. Clearly someone compromised my debit card account. I immediately call to put a block on the card and cancel the number. I notice the only charge that is pending in my checking account is for $1,300 from CRICKET Wireless. Odd. I'm an AT&T customer.

    July 20 - I call my bank and let them know what happened. They place the CRICKET charge as a fraudulent purchase. They credit me back for the charge and say they will mail me something that I have to sign saying that I did not authorize or purchase anything, etc. etc. Some kind of fraud waiver. No sooner than 15 minutes later I get an email from UPS telling me I have a package from AT&T scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Overnight.

    July 21 - Box arrives. I'm handling it like it's filled with poison. I want nothing to do with it. It sits for a few days, as the only time I have to call AT&T customer service is outside of their business hours.

    July 24 - Today. My day off in the week. I call AT&T customer service. They have no record of any order. The tracking doesn't work for them. Nothing under my info, phone number etc. They advise me to open the box to look at the slip. It's from CRICKET. They tell me to call them, as they have nothing. I call CRICKET. I tell them what happened, that some idiot out there stole my card number and ordered something to my address with my money. They apologize etc. He advises me to send it back and I'll receive a refund in 2-4 days after it arrives. I told him that my bank already credited me for the fraudulent charge. His next statement, word-for-word :

    "Oh, you already have the money back from the bank? Then it doesn't really matter what you do with the package. You could send it back to us, but it doesn't really matter. You could keep it, give it to someone, sell it. Look at it like it's a free phone".

    ???????? Uhhhhh. What the hell do I do now? I have this iPhone X that I didn't order, authorize or actively purchase, and when I call to sort it out the guy on the line basically says they don't care and it doesn't matter what I do with it. What the hell am I supposed to do in this situation? I'm not really looking to be dishonest or anything, but he explicitly advised me to just keep it. Isn't there like, trackable IMEI numbers or something though? This whole situation is just too confusing for me.

    What should I do? What would you do? I actively tried to solve the issue in the best way possible, and the company just tells me to keep this $1,300 product?

    iPhone X Black Screen Bug?

    Hello everyone! Recently, my iPhone X has been stricken with a strange black screen bug.

    Occasionally when I try to wake up my phone by either tapping on the screen or pressing the lock/power button, it won't "wake up". The phone functions normally in this state, I can hear the phone doing things if I tap on the screen, I can use Siri, screenshot, go into SOS mode and not be able to exit (that happened one time so far ha...) all that stuff. Long story short, when this bug is occurring the phone operates normally, I just can't see anything on the screen because it's black.

    I'm on the latest iOS Beta, BUT I've experienced this bug before I installed the Beta and was on an official release.

    Has anyone else experienced this issue? I have done a force restart (Volume Up, Volume Down, Power) and it seems to have fixed the issue but I'm not sure if it will last or not.

    iOS - Linking Note to Reminder

    Google Keyboard voice recognition vs Apple Keyboard

    Coming from android, this was a huge step down for me, but after installing Gboard fixes the issue. Is it possible however to, when clicking the microphone button, have it NOT go to a new app, then return to the texting? It always does this at the start of a text and it gets annoying

    I cannot restore backup from iCloud.

    Hey! Recently I made a backup on my iPhone SE, then switched to 7 and now when I want to restore ANY backup from iCloud (no, I don't have any iTunes backups, unfortunately) "Cannot restore backup" pops up every time, even if I want to restore previous ones, not only recent one (so I guess it's not because that last backup could be faulty) . Is there any fix to this, or a way to download backup from iCloud and inject it into iPhone through the cable? Please, help!

    With iOS 12 it is partly helpful that the list of apps using cellular data is in order of most used to least, but other times it is annoying. This video shows a bug I am having where I can’t even scroll to the bottom and it pushes me back up. How do I fix it?

    Good morning everyone. I have recently found it frustrating that if I were to save an image from the internet and it get added to Photos it would arrange itself based off of when it was taken. At first I thought the photo wasn't saving and then I realized that because it was taken 3 years ago that it was saved that far back in Photos. Is there any way to have it show up as most recent? Thank you.

    Will I be able to see, on my device, if another device logged onto the my Itunes account updates an app?

    I know for sure when the other device downloads an app I don't have, a notification pops on my device, however is this the case for updating apps? What about the other device updating apps which I don't own?

    Okay, here's the problem. I make video games for a living (3D modeller/animator) and as such I have lots of contacts in the industry all around the world. When I was starting out I only had a few folks to keep track of - one in Utah, one in Sweden, etc - but now I have dozens.

    What I would LIKE to do is change the name of the city in the Clock app to that of the contact (or contacts) there so I have a better idea of when I can contact them. For the most part I'm fine flinging messages and emails to em regardless, but some keep their alerts on while they sleep. It would also give me a better idea of when I can get replies from them and better reschedule my day/night to find the best time to sit down for a chat.

    So does anyone know of an app like this or should I put my (very basic) knowledge of Xcode to the test and try to get something working? At the moment I've just been using Notes to keep track of everyone's Timezone, but of course that changes twice a year, and it easily gets lost in the dozens of notes I make in a month.

    I've got an old game installed on my old ipad air. It's since been taken over by my kids and I got the new ipad pro a couple of months back. I recently got the urge to play an old game which is still installed on the air. Is there any way to transfer the app with all the game data intact? Or downloading the game on the pro and just transfer game data? The game itself doesn't have cloud save functions.

    'System' taking up over half of my usable storage?

    I have a 16GB iPhone SE, currently on iOS11.4. For a while now, the 'System' has been taking up ~7GB of my storage, and quickly consumes any other space I try and clear up. It's gotten to the point now where I can't open the camera, can't use WhatsApp, SnapChat just cuts out during filming video and apps often fail to open because the storage is 'full'.

    Does anyone here have any suggestions?

    Just bought Apple Care+ how long before it shows?

    So I just paid for it online for my new iPhone X. Got an email confirmation, but when checking the website (https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ca/en/) It still shows "eligble for apple care+" rather than purchased. I'm probably just too anxious and it may take a while for it to show up, but I thought it'd be instant?

    Weird Screen Capture behavior

    So, I've opened up a song on Spotify and turned on the built in screen capture thingy with the mic enabled on my iphone. I've made a short video with sound. no problem here. When I watch it from the phones gallery it is perfectly fine the mic sound is there, the IPhone's speaker sound is there, The screen is there. When I upload this video to anything (I've tried instagram, youtube, whatsapp) It doesn't have sound. When I transfer the file to my windows pc it shows it as a mp4 file and it does have sound but again the second I upload the video it loses all sound. It baffles me why this happenes. I can open the video on video players on my pc and it works fine. I've opened it with windows movie maker and it didn't have audio.

    I've never seen anything like this. I can't find a reason for this either. mp4 file has audio but most programs refuse to play it.
