    Apple leather case patina after 4 months.

    It was supposed to be a great day right? An iPhone 6S, left charging overnight. When I picked it up, it decided it was having none of my s**t.

    This is what I woke up to.

    The phone has no water damage, no screen damage, no hits. It was never opened, and thus, all original parts. It was left charging on an Apple power adapter, with an Apple cable and an Apple brand case (I guess no overheating?). Only thing I've managed to do is to reset the phone (SLEEP+HOME) and it apparently shut off. I plugged it in, and the phone was for all intents and purposes dead, but has now turned on with the same screen (missed if it even shows the Apple logo).

    Any help would be nice. Can't afford a new o ne right now, and I need it for work.

    I'm going to be upgrading from my iPhone 7 Plus that has some issues. I decided to just get away from the 7Plus mainly due to be putting a crap ton of money into it. My current phone has 32gb storage and I barely use that so storage is a non factor. What are the pros and cons of each phone? Is there a big difference going from a 7Plus to the X?

    Normal vs plus model

    After 1 yr of iPhone use, I find myself looking for a battery case or power bank. But the plus model has a better battery than the normal version, I am guessing 20% more screen time, if not more? So whatever I spend on the battery case, it would have been better spent towards the plus model.

    TLDR: buyers remorse, battery life sucks, wish I had the plus model instead.

    iPhone 7+ randomly plays music when connected to vehicle Bluetooth

    My iPhone randomly plays music when connected to my Jeep Wrangler's Bluetooth. It usually happens when I'm using Waze, but that's not always the case.

    Occasionally, it will play a podcast or queue up a book from Audible.

    What gives? It's annoying.

    I'm in Canada and it seems like we STILL aren't getting Apple News with iOS 12. So I'm thinking of biting the bullet and and changing my region so I can use this app I've wanted for years. The reason I haven't done this earlier is that I feel like it's going to throw off other aspects of the phone. So all that to say, what all gets affected when changing region?

    Shattered screen of 6s+...should I get the screen replaced at Broken We Can Fix It in L.A. or go to the apple store?

    Broken We Can Fix It has great reviews. My wife had her 6 screen replaced at Apple and it had major issues (not responding to touch).

    Also, was thinking about upgrading to 8+ but I heard new phones are coming out in September. Is it best to wait on the upgrade till then?
