| Posted: 03 Jun 2018 10:34 PM PDT I have an Iphone 7. Had it for probably a year now, and it's only recently that my phone has been having this issue. My issue is that when I plug it in, it tells me I have roughly 5000 photos/videos on my phone,which is correct, but when it goes to import the 2000 or so photos, based on what already there, it stops half way through. Then it doesn't recognize the photos after half way through. I checked my Apple driver, it says " may be out of date" that it is "a 2.0 USB driver and may not work on a 3.0 USB driver" which seems like bs since 3.0 driver has backwards compatability. and it hasn't had this as an issue at all before, not to mention this Lenovo windows pc is practically brand new beng a 2017 model. I uninstalled itunes and other apple programs, to ensure that the programs aren't the issue. I read some stuff online about using an app or two that can transfer the stuff but like why is it that I can't use my god damn cord? I've even used different cords to ensure it's not the cord. Does it have anything to do with there being barely any storage left on my phone? Is my Iphone 7 2.0 USB only capatable? Do I need to download an app to transfer it, although like I don't like the idea of my personal shit being trasnfered like that, are there secure ways? Why can't my computer recognize some of these files all of a sudden? Thank you [link] [comments]  |

| Can't see photos gallery or back up photos. Directory broken? Posted: 03 Jun 2018 07:36 AM PDT I have an iPhone SE. I am unable to access my photos in any way. I probably have about 10,000 photos and never cleaned them up. I know I know. I should have managed them better and backed them up more often. I know they still exist on the phone somewhere because there is a huge chunk of memory unaccounted for. However, when I go to manage storage in settings, photos do not show in the list. I can't open the gallery either. I can't upload them via iCloud on my phone and when I plug it in to manage via iTunes it still cannot find any photos. I've tried third party ftp apps and can't look at or move my photos in any way. Two things come to mind. Perhaps there are soany photos on the phone that it doesn't have enough ram to process them in a gallery? My other thought is maybe there is a broken or missing link in the directory. Like the file path to the photos is corrupt or messed up somehow. Because no matter what I try, I can't look at the photos and can't even see exactly how many there are or exactly how much storage they are using. Does anyone know of a way to access the files? I took it to the Apple store and they weren't helpful. They recommended a factory reset. I do not want to lose the photos. Any help is greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
| Iphone 7 Plus Unresponsive/Freezing scrolling/keyboard Posted: 03 Jun 2018 03:23 AM PDT Hi, I have an Iphone 7 Plus and some of the issues with the phone have been driving me nuts. I don't know if anybody else is experiencing this, but sometimes when I am using Youtube or scrolling around the phone freezes and takes ages to scroll through the page. Also, when using the keyboard, the thing can sometimes freeze and you end up missclicking letters therefore your will words will come out differently. I have tried getting the phone repaired independently (I think the screen was changed) but I am still having the same problem. Can I chalk this up to it being a software issue? I have previously tried resetting it and even updating the software (it is now on 11.4), but that doesn't help a bit. I am using 220GB of the 238GB available. Also, the battery max is 92%.
