Any way to filter out incremental/idle games? Posted: 19 Jun 2018 08:51 AM PDT I am not into those kinds of games, but App Store drowns in them and I would love to find another way of discovering new games without feeling disappointed every time I download something when surfing App Store. Any recommendations on where to get recommendations for new games that does not rely on incremental/idle-game elements? (I am okay with games that reward you for coming back the next day, but it should not be the primary thing) [link] [comments]

Does anyone remember Nightjar (audio-based game)? Posted: 18 Jun 2018 08:13 PM PDT Hey all, I was wondering if anyone remembered and/or played the game Nightjar? It was a game in which a voice in your ear is a "guide" (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch). As the player, you wake up on a spaceship type vessel. The screen is black but has "controls" in blue on the right and left side of the screen, simulating "footsteps". The "voice" is instructing you through the ship and to safety. I really liked the concept of the game (it didn't hurt that the narrator's voice was mellifluous and engaging). It's not an available game and I was wondering if anyone had played the game or perhaps has a game recommendation of something similar? Cheers! [link] [comments]
any good new/trending/must-play games? Posted: 18 Jun 2018 01:45 PM PDT I've liked the Baldur's Gate stuff. Faster than Light of course was great (played it on PC but if I hadn't, I would have loved it on iOS). Enjoyed some XCom EU, again another PC port though. This War of Mine was an enjoyable PC port. I'm seeing that a lot of my fun was with PC ports that I already played on PC - but maybe I'm missing out on some. Any suggestions? I have an iPad 4th Gen, and unfortunately some games won't DL. If there are new(er) games that are really good, I'd consider it a good excuse to upgrade my ipad. Thx! [link] [comments]

Looking for PvP/Multiplayer or 1v1 Type of games Posted: 18 Jun 2018 03:13 PM PDT Hey guys, i used to play this Zoo Animal Like game a looong time ago on my old iphone 4. It was like a 1v1 battle against another real life opponent, and you get ranked and get items for your animal. There were turtles, giraffes, pandas, etc. I recently downloaded Mini Golf King after my boss told me about a few months ago, and i like it, but i want something else. Although i do like mini golf, i know that there are other games out there like bowling. Do you guys have any recommendations like that zoo game i once had, like a 1v1 or player vs player style of game? Looking for all styles of games, sports, cards, etc. something with maybe a ranking system would be cool [link] [comments]
Gamevice causing iphone to restart due to overheating... Posted: 18 Jun 2018 12:37 PM PDT Does anyone that uses a gamevice have overheating issues while playing games? I use the gamevice for shadowgun legends and my phone restarts periodically due to overheating. I have an iphone 7 plus and its been hot before playing but never restarted until I started using the gamevice. Wondering if anyone has the same issue or a solution... [link] [comments] |
