    Love the beta so far, but what I mentioned in the title has been bugging me. You can't quickly swipe away notifications any longer. You have to do the "swipe then press clear" bit.

    That bothering anyone else? Or has anyone found a setting to allow swiping away?

    [Bug] App Notifications Not Working

    Has anyone else experience issues with app notifications not working? I've noticed this with MLB At Bat and Bleacher Report this morning. When I try to turn notifications on within the app, it prompts me to first allow them in the phone's settings. After turning notifications off and back on both apps still prompt me to turn them on in settings.

    Seems like nobody mentioned it, but the playback skipping in iOS 12 is stupid fast compared to iOS 11. In iOS 11 there's a 0.4s delay between skipping songs, I never understood why because the music is downloaded locally. In iOS 12 due to the optimizations it has been fixed and you can skip songs super fast now through CC!

    [Question] How to fix the error that occurs when installing the iOS 12 public beta?

    When I try to install it I get the message: "Unable to Install Update: An error occurred installing iOS 12 Public Beta". Running an iPhone 7, resetting doesn't seem to help.

    So I just tested this and it worked, it takes about 10 seconds to lock on but I get between +-5 and 10m accuracy with airplane mode on, (no wifi on).

    Here's what I did:

    I downloaded the beta 2 IPSW and shift-updated to the beta 2 IPSW (I was previously using beta 2).

    Waze now recognizes GPS and it's been about 2 hours with no problems.

    [QUESTION] Anyone else have trouble with iMSG? Contacts seem to be merging conversations

    So my son and his mother share an itunes account. We have it setup so that his email registers to his ipad, and his mothers phone number and email register to her phone, and the opposites are turned off so they don't each other messages.

    Seems like since I updated to the beta, their 2 convos have been merged despite these settings going un changed. Each contact in my phone doesn't share anything in common with the other. I can call them separately as well. When i go to message either one of them, it always goes into the same convo which is going to my son. Even if I go into her contact info and chose message her phone number, the messages app opens into my sons convo.

    Not really sure what else to try and do to fix this. Never happened before in the number of years doing this. Maybe it's a but or maybe I can fix it?

    [QUESTION] iOS 12 Beta 2 Fixed Auto Brightness? - AFtermarket Screens

    Hi everyone,

    I recently read a comment on YouTube saying that when you update to iOS 12 Beta 2 your ALS sensor will start working again. You might ask why did it stop in the first place? Well when you install an aftermarket screen the Phone detects that and shuts both True Tone and the ALS (Ambient Light Sensor) off.

    It would be epic if that would be the case! Can anyone confirm that?

    On Public Beta 1 of iOS 12. It's only happened to me twice, but I will tap on a folder of apps to open it, and nothing will happen, if I swipe to another page and come back to the page that had issues with folders opening, it opens on the first try.
