I just noticed that my copy of Moneyball is now in 4K and was wondering if there was a way to see other recent movies that have also been upgraded, like The Matrix or Jurassic Park, which were both recently updated. | Screensavers, future updates, etc. Posted: 22 Jun 2018 06:08 PM PDT Coming up on 8mos for my ATV ownership. Why aren't there new aerial screen savers each month? Such a beautiful idea but trapped in these mainly drab (or really highly urbanised) environments. When will we orbit from a sat, cruise the Alps, etc? Seems like such an easy win. | Posted: 22 Jun 2018 09:08 PM PDT I am getting ready to upgrade my entire home theater system to a 4K HDR TV plus sound system. I do currently have on my 1080p television the latest Apple TV 4K. My question is when I go to settings then video and audio the 4K option is not listed. It only goes up to 1080p. I assume that's because I don't have my 4K TV yet, am I correct or should it be listed there regardless. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]  |

On Apple tv 4k the location of the commercials are shown with a small circle but the length of the commercial is not shown graphically. Any way to fix this -- [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 22 Jun 2018 06:11 AM PDT I recently just bought my first Apple TV. Newest gen in 4K. I'm having issues very often when watching Netflix or whatever else where the background noise (music or ambient noise) will be normal volume and the voices of the actors are not able to be heard as if they're on mute. Which doesn't make any sense. Another problem I'm having is being able to hear everything only to see a completely black screen. This has happened maybe twice while the audio issue happens almost every time I watch something. The Apple TV is brand new. My 4K TV is brand new. The HDMI cord is brand new and is the ultra fast HDMI which is required for the best picture. Can anyone help me solve this? [link] [comments]  |
| AppleTV doesn’t load normally - I only get an Airplay screen. Posted: 22 Jun 2018 07:05 AM PDT When I turn in my AppleTV, I see a screen that says 'Airplay......1. Choose Wifi Network. 2. Choose this Apple TV' I can mirror my phone no problems, but the everyday content doesn't load. I have taken the power cord out, but that didn't help. This is the only screen I get and no buttons on the remote work. The light on the box flashes, but nothing happens, so I know the remote has power. [link] [comments]  |
| 4k Dolby vision on Apple TV is worse quality than Sky Q 4k - why is this? Posted: 22 Jun 2018 05:02 AM PDT So I have been having what I believe are issues with the quality of my picture on my Apple TV 4k. It just seemed so grainy, even on films that shouldn't have too much noise. I've finally compared it to my Sky Q box with the exact same film in 4k (non HDR), and it's crazy how big the difference is, the Sky version is so much sharper. Any idea why this would be? Is the Sky version that much better because it is a download rather than a stream? Or have I somehow got the wrong settings on my ATV? [link] [comments]  |
