| Posted: 03 Jun 2018 02:47 PM PDT Hello Everyone, I've noticed even prior to the 11.4 tvOS update, that my AppleTV 4K will never go to sleep. I have it set to go to sleep after 30 minutes, but it seems that it just remains on with the white LED always lit. I have my TV connected to the AppleTV 4K, and it is a Samsung KS8000 model. I went to the video settings and no longer saw any 4K options that were there previously. I've rebooted and reseated the cable to no avail. Anyone else experiencing these issues? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 03 Jun 2018 10:23 PM PDT Something really strange happened. I have an AppleTV 4K and I just noticed the treehouse app on my home screen. The weird thing is I have never purchased this app, and it doesn't even show up in my list of purchased apps. And yet somehow it appeared on my home screen. Also a couple other apps that I had previously purchased but deleted showed back up on my home screen. My Apple ID hasn't been compromised but I went ahead and changed my password anyway. Has anyone had a similar issue. Any ideas as to what could have caused this? [link] [comments]  |
| Latest update automatically chooses screen-mirrored audio output. Posted: 03 Jun 2018 10:57 AM PDT My setup is pretty unique so let me try and explain as best I can. I use an ATV4K as my main platform, but stream audio to an ATV3 that is sending audio signal output into a main Receiver. Sometimes I screen mirror off of an ipad or iphone to the main ATV4K. This has worked wonderfully for me up until the last week's update. Now whenever a device is screen-mirrored to the main ATV4K, the audio output is automatically switched away from my ATV3 selection and tries to send through the original ATV4K. And since screen-mirroring is now activated, there is noway to tell the ATV4K to play into my ATV3 audio setup (like when you hold the play/pause and choose). Is there any possible work around for this? I wish there was just a setting to keep an audio output default, Apple trying to choose for you is insanely annoying. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 03 Jun 2018 07:50 PM PDT Hi, has anybody noticed weird subtitles color only when playing HDR content? It seems to be happening with any app, as long as the video has HDR, the subtitles look very gray, and it seems that when there is a brighter image the subtitles get even darker, or maybe it is only my perception? anyway they are quite gray to begin with. The thing is I am using a projector (Epson 5040ub) so the sustained brightness is not really an issue like in some TVs, this doesn't happen with my UHD blu-ray player so I don't understand what is happening.
