Posted: 22 Jun 2018 09:45 PM PDT Hey guys! I will be travelling internationally in August and would like some ideas when it comes to things I can do on my MacBook when I'm offline. Some things about me would be that I enjoy listening to music, I do enjoy playing games (however a lot of the games that I've been playing I'm kind of getting bored of: League of Legends and Fortnite really. I play these on my desktop though) I have a 2017 15" MBP. IIRC everything is maxed out except for the hard drive, I got the 1TB instead of the 2TB. That being said, do you guys have any tips when it comes to apps I can download to play for fun? Thanks a lot! [link] [comments]

Got a 2011 MacBook Pro for $25, surprisingly has issues Posted: 22 Jun 2018 07:46 PM PDT Hey there - so I bought a 2011 17" MacBook Pro from some guy on Craigslist. I plugged it in, hit the power button and nothing happened. I cracked open the case and noticed that the hard drive was missing. I work on PC's for a living, but don't know a lot about Macs. Is this a normal thing for a Mac with no hard drive? [link] [comments]
Changing out the Thermal Paste Posted: 22 Jun 2018 01:13 PM PDT I have a 2011 Macbook Pro that has really loud fan noise (explained in earlier post). I think the problem can be attributed to the thermal paste. My idle temperature is around 60C and under load it can be 81C. Is this near the normal temperature? Should I change the thermal paste? 2008 MacBook HDD to SSD. Need help with install of OSX. Posted: 22 Jun 2018 07:42 AM PDT Hello all. I have an early 2008 MacBook. I want to replace the HDD with an SSD. Possible to transfer old MBP to new MacBook? Posted: 22 Jun 2018 09:30 AM PDT Hi. I just bought a new 12 inch MacBook. The problem is I only have a usb c to usb a cable. If I use the cable to connect the 2 computers to each other, is there a way I can transfer my old HD to the new? Thanks for any help. [link] [comments] |
