I made a journal app that captures your thoughts and and helps you stay organized Posted: 27 Jun 2018 12:51 AM PDT It's called Sunset Journal. It got some unique features such as emotion animation and drag to organize entries. Currently it supports text only. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sunset-journal/id1335813618?mt=8 Welcome any feedback. :) [link] [comments]

Heat generation during daily activities, 7 and X. Posted: 27 Jun 2018 08:53 AM PDT When browsing sites like iMore, Macrumors, IGN, and other places similar I can feel heat below the camera, the temp in the room varies room 70-75 Fahrenheit, and my co-workers temp gun read the phone at a max of 92 degrees in the office. Yesterday evening just trying to use it outside it hit easily over 98 degrees and was 80 degrees out but at this time I was trying to load a page and it wouldnt load so I was forced to use Airplane mode. Guess I am wondering if anyone else has had this? And can anyone feel underneath the camera while doing moderate browsing for 5 - 10 minutes, (flipping between sites decently quick, and loading some posts) I would be enternally grateful if someone else had a temp gun or could test and see if gets warm doing what i described above... P.S. Happens on two iPhones, personal is iPhone X ATT, Work is iPhone 7 Verizon [link] [comments]

When does iOS 11.4.1 come out ? Posted: 26 Jun 2018 11:48 AM PDT I'm sick and tired of this pathetic battery drain on my 6S with 11.4. Have already done a restore from iTunes. No change. [link] [comments]
iBooks Question: Difference between syncing and adding a copy of a book using another app. Posted: 27 Jun 2018 08:19 AM PDT I was using itunes to add books I noticed that when you sync books you need to always check the books that were added to my ipad's ibooks by syncing else it would get deleted. My question is why are the books that were not synced from itunes but instead copied from another app do not get removed when syncing? [link] [comments]

No auto lock screen for specific apps Posted: 27 Jun 2018 03:35 AM PDT Hi, as the title says, is there a way to disable auto lock screen for a specific app like a game for example ? Thanks guys. [link] [comments]
Backing up App Data in iOS 11 (with no jailbreak) Posted: 27 Jun 2018 06:45 AM PDT My iPod Touch has a swollen battery which means I'll need to replace the entire device. The problem is that I have some games on it that have since been decommissioned - I still have the ipa files, but the games downloaded a lot of data from servers for extra content, and those servers have since shut down - and I was wondering if there was a solution to backup app data? I've looked at software like iFunbox and iFileEplorer, but as expected they can't explore the app's file structure because they don't have File Sharing enabled (which was killed after iOS 8.3). Are those files just lost for me? Is there a way to convince the genius bar to replace the battery instead of giving me a new (refurbished device)? I know from my experience they don't like to work on devices with swollen batteries at all. [link] [comments]
Can you recommend me some accurate, good looking weather apps for iOS? Posted: 26 Jun 2018 01:28 PM PDT Edit: THANK YOU everyone for the recommendations! At the end, I chose "Today Weather" from u/Reeder113 One question for all long-time iOS users: why does EVERY app in App Store have some sort of subscription? Coming from Android, it's kinda weird [link] [comments]

Option to disconnect to poor WiFi signal faster... Posted: 27 Jun 2018 05:37 AM PDT During that transition from WiFi to mobile data (leaving the house) it seems as though my iPhone doesn't want to let go of WiFi even though it's hardly anything there. I'll have to drive out probably about 3 blocks before it finally decides to switch over, and during that time I have no data. So just wondering (on Android) if the iPhone has the option where I can disconnect automatically from a poor WiFi connection. I assume that would help making the translation faster. Or if any other setting I'm not aware of. Thanks. [link] [comments]

How can I get rid of ads in the new Storm Radar app? Posted: 27 Jun 2018 04:30 AM PDT Update: I went with the RadarScope Pro app. I tried using the WU Storm app just now and was told it's no longer supported. It suggested I use Weather Channel's Storm Radar app. There are ads in it and I'd like to get rid of them but I can't find a way to purchase an ad-free premium plan. Is there a way to do this? Paint and edit iPhone X photo depth map? Posted: 27 Jun 2018 03:43 AM PDT The portrait mode with the iPhone X is a stunning feature, but sometimes the depth information isn't quite correct. For example if I take a photo of a person the background between the body and the arms isn't detected and therefore not blurred. Which App has a feature to re-paint the depth information with a smart brush and save it again as portrait photo? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Jun 2018 07:34 PM PDT The problem is in the title, really. I went to Settings > Game Center and toggled it to off, then I went to Notifications > Games and toggled that to off, too. From what I've seen online, this is supposed to completely disable/stop all Game Center popups from appearing, but even after a restart, it's still not doing the trick. Have I missed something? It seems like an extremely invasive thing to have happening every time I play a game unless it can be opted out of. I'm using IOS 11.4 and I just did a full restore of my iphone, without re-importing backup data, about an hour ago. Thanks for the help. [link] [comments]
