    After hearing it was so great I decided I would try the beta out earlier than usual. How ever WiFi performance has been extremely sub par. And I have this horrible YouTube glitch we're the video will freeze for around 20 seconds whenever switching screen orientation.

    Would it be safe to downgrade? Should I just tough it out until a new public beta which hopefully fixes this?

    So I'm playing around with the location services for a while. So do you guys have the weather app locations service set to always on? If so how much battery does it drain? I'm just wondering since the GPS is always on in this case.

    Restore network settings

    I've had to reset my network settings on my iPhone to fix a Carrier fault. Really annoying to lose all my wifi logins, is there any way to restore these? Considering they're shared through iCloud already it seems crazy I can't get them back on the phone without a full restore.

    I am finding to find a way to force a Desktop site on iOS.

    With safari many sites don't work when requesting desktop.

    iCab if I change the user agent to Safari Mac still doesn't work for many sites.

    The best one which always works is Puffin Browser but that doesn't support iPhone C yet and hasn't been updated in a long time.

    Am I missing a way to do it with iCab other than just changing the agent? Is there another option I haven't listed?

    Please Help setting up!

    So my uncle came from overseas with an iPhone 7 Plus which had some issues software-wise. So he told me to back it up and factory reset it. BUT he forgot to mention that the phone is locked to a certain network. AND now, the phone doesn't work with MY SIM or HIS SIM (because the phone doesnt pick up signals from my location), and now the phone is stuck in it's start up mode. PLEASE tell me what to do as this phone is very important to him and he needs to use it ASAP. How can use an iphone WITHOUT using a sim?

    11.4 Messages bug?

    Dealing with a bug of some sort that won't display my texts in the messages app. I get a notification and can see the text preview in the notifications pull down, but when I open messages the text won't be there. I have to force close the app then reopen the app to see it. I tried to reboot the phone yesterday thinking it would help, and it crashed the phone giving me the'connect to iTunes' screen. So after factory resetting the phone, of course it happened again today. Hope it gets fixed.

    Installed iOS 12 beta and then went back to iOS 11. Now iCloud is treating my phone like 2 different phones on iCloud backup - How do I fix this

    So I did a proper backup on iTunes and then installed the iOS 12 public beta. I had issues with all my folders disappearing so I uninstalled iOS 12 and did everything appropriate to get my archived iTunes backup back on my my iPhone X and now iCloud says I have too little space to do a backup. It appears iCloud is treating the reinstalled iOS 11 as a separate device. Any help with this would be appreciated as I dont want to bump up to the 2TB icloud storage just to be able to backup

    Can't do iCloud backup even when only selecting Contacts.

    With the free 5GB of iCloud, I can't backup even when only selecting contacts. Keeps saying my storage is not enough. I have 4.9 GB free. Using iOS 11.4(latest) and iPhone 6

    It has been like this for 100+ weeks haha

    Stop Apps from opening links in Safari

    Is this possible? With my iPhone X, the edges get pressed against my palm and some apps (especially news apps) deliberately place their ads very close to the edges so I often mis-tap and open those ads in safari. At least safari would ask me if I want to open an app but not vice versa.

    [iOS 12 Beta 2] Bedtime Alarm Issue

    Has anyone else experienced an issue where the time for bedtime alarm keeps repeatedly going off even once you interact with it? I restarted my phone three times and it still kept going off. I finally was able to close all my open apps and turn off the bedtime feature in clock to get it to stop.

    I've been on iOS 12 beta since it came out and this is the firs time this has happened. I submitted feedback to Apple but I'm curious if I'm the only one or not.

    iPhone 7 still running iOS 10. Should I update to iOS 11?

    Hi all - relatively new iPhone user here, not sure if I should update my iPhone 7 from iOS 10.3.3 to the latest version of iOS 11. Go ahead, laugh at me (LOL)! When iOS 11 was first released, I held off on upgrading to due the infamous "battery drain" issues. I kept holding off because I kept hearing about more bugs and issues, and now we're almost at iOS 12 and I'm still on 10.3.3. Now that we are well into the iOS 11 release, my question is... Should I update?

    My iPhone 7 is 1.5 years old and runs as snappy as it did the first day I got it; I'm afraid to update and lose that speediness, or have battery drain, or any issues, really. Can you all provide some insight as to whether I'm being a complete committment-phobe and should update, or is iOS 11 still buggy?

    WiFi calling big

    I recently switched to a carrier who supports WiFi calling.

    So yesterday I noticed that when I was trying to call someone with my phone in flight mode but connected to the WiFi, I'd get an error message that I have to either disable the flight mode or connect to a WiFi network although I was already connected in one.

    Does anyone have this problem?

    Interesting Occurrence Regarding My Inability to Download and Update Select Apps

    For the past few weeks, I've been struggling to update random apps on all of my iOS devices. This includes my wife's iPhone and iPad. After trying everything, include a factory reset, I decided to give Apple a call. After 2 hours, they weren't able to fix my issue. They gave me a list of things to try and a scheduled return call. Regardless of how things were to turn out, they were incredibly helpful.

    A little more info, I couldn't install or update apps on cellular, or on other networks. My wife could. After being given further instructions and a callback time, I decided to do something odd; I removed Facebook from my router's URL and Keyword filters. As soon as I did, my iPad began updating apps. My iPhone still did not work, so I rebooted it. Once it was operational, the updates began to work as normal.

    I don't know what any of this means, but I do find it interesting and thought some of you would, as well.
