iPad 2018 or used iPad Pro for university note taking Posted: 08 Apr 2018 12:11 PM PDT I can't really decide whether I should buy the new iPad 2018 or if I should go for the old Pro version (9.7) with the Apple Pencil. Is it worth it for the laminated Display and the older hardware? [link] [comments]
2018 iPad keyboard case recommendation? Posted: 08 Apr 2018 12:23 PM PDT Hey. Finally going to pull the trigger on a new iPad. Any recommendations on a good 9.7" keyboard case? I don't want to break the bank, but I want good functionality. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Apr 2018 12:11 PM PDT Just bought the iPad Pro 10.5 (couldn't be happier coming from an Air 1st gen) and I'm using it completely naked. I use the cover from the Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard as a stand for it. What do you think about using it naked? Do you think I should buy a Smart Cover/Case? A screen protector? For those who use it naked: do scratches apear? I'm especially worried about the Apple logo at the back... [link] [comments]
What's your favourite color for an iPad (or Apple in general) Posted: 08 Apr 2018 08:50 AM PDT Just curious. I recently bought an iPad Pro in silver. I actually went in to get the rose gold, but it was sold out in both apple stores in my city, and I couldn't wait for it. So what is your favourite? And which so you own? [link] [comments]
Owners of 2018 iPad, is the glare as bad as people say? Posted: 08 Apr 2018 03:04 AM PDT Or is it just nitpicky and not that noticeable at all? [link] [comments]
Will Apple ever update the iPad Mini line? Posted: 07 Apr 2018 09:00 PM PDT I have the iPad Mini 2. It is the most perfect device ever! Thin, lightweight, high pixel density...I enjoy reading on it, especially on bed before sleeping. Works amazing if it is a book, pdf, or just casual online browsing. Great for watching videos as well. Now I've had the Mini 2 for some 4 years now. It can get incredibly laggy. And the battery dies real quick. But when I look at the upgrade option...there's only the Mini 4 launched way back in 2015 with a fairly dated SoC. Make no mistake, I think the Mini 2 is the best ever tech purchase I've made. It's incredibly functional for a four year old device that's seen some knocks and is heavily used on a daily basis! I'd have gotten a 9.7-inch iPad by now...but correct me if I am wrong the current iPad is a fair bit thicker and heavier than the iPad Air models. To me size and weight is all that matters. I want a simple, basic, no frills tablet experience. That's why I want an iPad even though I have an Android phone and know Android is a more functional OS. I had two Android tablets before my iPad and I'll never go back. Would appreciate your thoughts on this. I can wait a few more months if a Mini 5 is imminent, else I need to check on my options. What cover / back case to buy for 2018 9.7 ipad? Posted: 08 Apr 2018 11:05 AM PDT Just bought the new 9.7 inch 2018 ipad, and I can't figure out which case to buy. For the ipad mini i was using before I used the apple smart case, which had a front cover AND a back that went around the ipad itself. I'd like the same thing for this new ipad, but i can only find the front cover that clips to the side of the ipad, and the back is totally exposed. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Apr 2018 08:34 AM PDT I'm after a VPN app that works on a per app basis, or ideally just one that works like a browser extension. Basically I just want to keep my browsing private, and big brother can check out whatever else he wants on my iPad! My data plan comes with unmetered Netflix and the like so I don't want to rout all my data through the VPN and lose the unmetered content! Does such a thing exist? Cheers [link] [comments]
iPad Pro (2017) or Wait for the iPad drop this year Posted: 08 Apr 2018 07:07 AM PDT so the context would be that Im a student undergoing the IB programme (1st Year) and would need an iPad for studies. My current laptop is really too heavy for me to carry around along with my books so Im looking for an alternative for me to take down notes, write essays, and the occasional youtube videos. Would buying the ipad pro 2017 be worth the cost or shd i just wait for the new one this year? Would the predicted upgrade be worth the wait? Or any other suggestions of what I should get? Got new 9.7" iPad / Pencil - no flair for it! Posted: 07 Apr 2018 04:57 PM PDT Got the new model today along with the Pencil. Loving the Pencil functionality so far, but just a heads up to the mods that there isn't flair yet for the 2018 iPad. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Apr 2018 01:31 AM PDT I can't open my iPad, and my home button isn't broken. When I tried to charge it, I hear a sound of it currently charging, but the screen is still black. The question is, I know I can force shut down the iPad, but my power button is also broken, so I can't do anything. Now what to do? [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Apr 2018 04:41 PM PDT Have had an iPad 1 since launch 2010, don't use it for much anymore besides YouTube, which I used the official Google app for (not the one that came with it, as that one hasn't worked since 2015). A while back I got a message saying "Error loading, tap to retry," but I uninstalled/reinstalled and it was working completely fine after that, this was back in 2016, and now, it's giving me the same message, but uninstalling and reinstalling has done nothing. Is this the end? [link] [comments]
I have bad handwritings, is it bad to use Apple Pencil to take notes? Posted: 07 Apr 2018 04:06 PM PDT I don't know if it's the app or the user's handwriting, I see from youtube those people who use pencil for note taking have their notes precisely on the line of the app, but my handwriting used to be a mess, is the app able to assist me on this? I mean by forcing my writings sticks to the line. [link] [comments]
time to upgrade from my original iPad 2! Posted: 07 Apr 2018 02:26 PM PDT I just ordered my 2018 iPad. I was going to go for the pro but couldn't justify the extra $. I still use my MacBook for most of my school work so this tablet will just be a companion to it. what can I expect from my new one? looking forward to it! [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Apr 2018 02:09 PM PDT This is my first i-anything, I got it used through a friend of a friend type deal. It had the icloud stuff cleared, I guess, and I got an account set up with no problem. I've been using it on wi-fi since I got it but I'll be traveling for the summer and want to use ATT prepaid cellular IPad plan. When I hit the cellular button it offers me Sprint data plans. Does this mean the IPad is locked to Sprint or can I take it to AT&T or an Apple store and get a different sim. And is there anything I need to know about iOS, since I"ve never used it before? Thank you. [link] [comments] |
