| Apple TV keyboard not automatically popping up on iPhone anymore Posted: 06 Apr 2018 08:49 PM PDT When I first set up my Apple TV 4k, whenever I needed to use the keyboard, I got a little pop up on my phone that if I tapped would bring up a keyboard I could use instead of having to use the D-pad on the ATV remote. That has stopped happening and I can't seem to figure out how to get it back. I tried disconnecting the phone from the ATV and re-connecting it. Any suggestions? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

| What's the easiest way to find cheap 4k/HDR movies on iTunes? Posted: 06 Apr 2018 07:40 AM PDT I'm trying to build up a decent 4k HDR movie collection on my iTunes account, and since I discovered that my Movies Anywhere movies will only be HD/SDR, I have very few 4k HDR movies. I picked up The Revenant while it's on sale, and I got a John Wick code on ebay that redeemed in iTunes for 4k, but in general is there a way for me to filter the iTunes store down to "Movies available in 4K HDR for under $10 released in the past 3 years" for example? I'd love to see a weekly or monthly roundup of good 4k HDR movie deals on this subreddit as well, if anyone wants to curate that. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 06 Apr 2018 11:58 PM PDT Whenever I open any app, play any video, or just scroll around for too long, the screen flashes to black, then quits back to the home screen. The "Remote Connected" dialogue pops up and all seems hunky dory for a few seconds before doing it again. If I manage to beat some arbitrary time limit and get a video to play, it MIGHT last 2 episodes before quitting again. Software is up to date, remote is charged, yes I've turned it off and back on again, disconnected and reconnected everything yada yada yada. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 06 Apr 2018 12:14 PM PDT I used to have a ton of HD Digital movies on my Apple 4KTV(linked through MA, Vudu) that were automatically upgraded to 4K(if they were available). But recently tried to watch something and noticed a bunch of them don't show the 4k icon anymore. Is it a glitch and they are still playing in 4k or is that policy now dead and they are back to just HD? Thanks, and sorry if this was posted a thousand times, I couldn't find an answer online.
