IPad mini 1st gen 30$ worth it? Posted: 01 Feb 2018 11:56 AM PST A friend of mine has an iPad mini 1st gen almost new open box, he touched it twice maybe and is offering it for 30$. I'm going to use it for reading pdfs and epub file maybe watching videos offline. No internet, no games strictly the tasks I mentioned before only. So is it worth it for that? Ipad Air I - Safari is becoming very erratic, crashes all the time Posted: 01 Feb 2018 07:51 AM PST I have an Ipad Air, for the most part works great, battery life still good, etc. I have it with me pretty much all the time when I am at home. Just lately Safari has started crashing a lot, usually when I'm looking at a "busy" webpage with lots of stuff loading at once (example, dailymail articles). Unfortunately, a lot of websites are like this now. The page crashes, then safari attempts to reload it. Scroll down the page a little more, it crashes again. It didn't use to do this. I've tried all of the normal fixes (deleting cookies, restarting ipad, etc) and it still does it. Harddrive still has roughly 5-10gb left on it. iPad for Japanese handwriting on PDFs Posted: 01 Feb 2018 01:49 PM PST Hey guys, I'm looking into buying iPad exclusively for viewing pdfs and handwriting using a stylus on pdfs (it will be in Japanese if that matters). I'm looking for a cheap solution. I've seen some examples of handwriting on youtube, end they seem nice, but I'm wondering if iPad 3rd generation would be precise enough (I'm no Apple user, so I have no idea about stylus compatibility or anything). iPad mini 4 erratic touch screen while charging Posted: 31 Jan 2018 03:13 PM PST I am using Apple 29W USB C charger and also cord that i bought in Apple Store 2weeks ago. It's so difficult to type and when i scroll through websites sometimes it zooms in randomly but goes back to normal when i unplug it. However when i use the standard charger that came with the iPad,touch works fine while charging. I do have tempered glass screen protector on the iPad.
