Why can’t Fox Sports Go ever stay at 60FPS Posted: 16 Feb 2018 06:20 PM PST GURRRRRRR I have 115meg speeds thru Spectrum and this damn app always defaults to 30FPS. Stays at 60 on my Roku Stick just fine. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Feb 2018 05:57 PM PST Hey all, I recently got a second AppleTV, thank you Directv Now. My home data usage went from 500gb a month, to 900gb in 12 days. I'm streaming a bit more, but not enough to make that much of a difference. Does the 4K ATV use a ton of data? Or is it some setting like "One Homescreen"? And I've checked my wifi and there's nobody else connected. [link] [comments]

Apple TV 4K but never get above 1080 Posted: 16 Feb 2018 10:29 AM PST So I have the Developer option so I can see the 'video display-size:' showing 3840x2160 which I understand means what the source is offering as a resolution. But 'natural-size:' which I also understand means what's being displayed never goes above 1920x1080 (although the screensaver does show 3840x2160 which leads me to believe I'm find from the Apple TV to my 4K TV). Network bandwidth shows over 100mbps (AT&T Gigapower fiber). I've tried Amazon Prime 4K shows, Youtube 4K videos and iTunes 4K movie previews (or do the previews only display in 1080?). Any thoughts on what I'm missing? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Feb 2018 08:21 PM PST as topic, it looks like thor will have an UHD release, would it come with 4k digital as well or is the disney hold out still happening? [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Feb 2018 10:47 AM PST Hi, just got ATV 4k. I have a major sound difference between different apps. Is there a setting to try and minimize this difference? [link] [comments]
Would AppleTV be better if Apple handled all the app design like it did with ATV3? Posted: 16 Feb 2018 01:23 PM PST It seems like every month we get an app that's designed so badly that it causes endless frustration. Recently the NBC Sports app and YouTube come to mind. I have to say I would definitely prefer it if Apple would just do it all again. The old app model was easy and dependable. I didn't have to learn a new navigation paradigm for every app. Thoughts? Apple TV 1st Gen with dead HDD... Help! Posted: 16 Feb 2018 07:54 AM PST Hi, I recently acquired a 1st generation Apple TV but it seems that the HDD is shot. I took it apart, removed the 160GB drive and installed an SD to 2.5" IDE adapter, which worked fine. The only issue is (obviously) I don't have the firmware, or a working drive to get it from! I was wondering where I might be able to get the OS files and HOW to put them on (as I don't have a Mac, just a PC running Windows and Arch). Does anyone have a simple guide to get me started? I tried the USB method but it never worked. I need to put the files directly on the drive. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
