Posted: 15 Jan 2018 07:04 AM PST The only issue I have is the notifications. Is it possible to group the notifications? On my S8, all my WhatsApp, Instagram, snapchat notifications group together. For example (10 WhatsApp, 5 Instagram, 4 snapchat). Instead of just loading up my screen with notifications, is there a way to group them together? [link] [comments]

5S --------> 8 Plus. Couldn't be happier. Posted: 14 Jan 2018 08:48 PM PST I was on the fence for a long time about upgrading my 5s which I have had since it came out in 2013. I finally have upgraded to the 8 Plus and it is fantastic. For anyone else that finds themselves on the fence because you just aren't sure about the size, do it! I was paranoid forever about upgrading from the 5s because I really enjoyed its size and was scared to have buyers remorse with a large phone. After switching, it's only been two days and I can't see myself going back. If you would have asked me a year ago if I'd own an iphone plus I probably would have laughed at you. The screen real estate is great and the camera/battery alone are worth it, and i dont even take many pictures. Just thought i would share! [link] [comments]
Just bought the iPhone X, some apps won't open at all Posted: 15 Jan 2018 06:44 AM PST I absolutely love the phone but some apps just don't open. I click the icon and the screen turns black for a second before going back to the home screen. The apps include clips, garage band, pages, numbers, keynote. Does anybody know what the problem is or how to fix this? Should I take the phone to the apple store? [link] [comments]
Battery replacement on a 6 worth it? Posted: 15 Jan 2018 08:03 AM PST I have a 6 that is physically in good condition, but battery life is mediocre and it is very slow. I have been reading around and have heard that the $29 battery replacement offer that Apple is having would fix both of these issues. Do you guys think it is worth it? Will I see significant speed increases? I would like to keep this phone as long as possible and do not really care for upgrading if I can avoid it. [link] [comments]

Minor performance issues, should I restore my iphone7 plus to factory settings? Posted: 15 Jan 2018 09:49 AM PST My iphone experience some lags more then my brother's iphone 7 plus. Occassionally, the battery drains faster and the standby time = to usage time. When I swipe to my widgets page, it lags for a 2 seconds before it becomes responsive. They are all default widgets. Currently running 11.2.2 but I feel like I have had these problems for a few months. Also, random vibrations with no notifications are bothering me so much. [link] [comments]
iphone 5s Lightning Cable Burnt Pins Posted: 15 Jan 2018 02:53 AM PST Hello everyone. Do any of you know if Apple is acknowledging an apprently common problem with the iphone 5s-compatible official Apple lightening cables with regards to some of the connecting pins turning black after a relatively short period of time? Are you any of you familiar with this matter? If so, have any of you tried the 'wipe-the-affected-pin-with-alchohol' solution' which is a suggestion I've found online? Yet another cable I have has reached the end of the road and I'd like some user input before I pay yet another visit to an Apple store to get a replacement. Thanks. [link] [comments]

iPhone 7 skips unlock animation Posted: 15 Jan 2018 08:49 AM PST Like 40% of the time it skips the unlock animation (on latest beta but this has been happening with regular iOS 11 releases before) what should I do? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jan 2018 08:48 AM PST Don't get me wrong, I love Apple, but their recent products don't seem to get me excited anymore like they used to back when iPad 2 was announced. When the iPhone X came out, I really despised the notch, which is something I'm sure some people don't mind. I currently have a 6S and I like it but the battery barely lasts 6 hours on a full single charge. So, what do you guys think? Is there still potential for Apple to come up with the "next big thing"? Question about Apples new battery replacement rules Posted: 15 Jan 2018 07:18 AM PST About 4 months ago my girlfriend went in to Apple to get her screen changed out because it was cracked, and when Apple ran the diagnostics she found out that her battery was also almost dead. She was already out of warranty and she decided she didn't want to pay close to another $100 so she didn't get the battery changed out. About a month ago she decided to get the battery switched out at a local iPhone repair shop. I know chances are this battery is not OEM, but her battery has started working badly just a month later. If she tried to go to Apple would they replace her battery, or would they refuse to work on it because of she has a third party battery? [link] [comments] |
