I've used the Apple provided, standard music app for a long time ever since I bought the phone a few years ago. Just recently it started crashing every time I attempted to open it. It's pretty frustrating since I have all my music on there. I've tried restarting the phone multiple times, I've reset all settings a few times and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? The only difference in settings is that I have MobileIron device management installed with a ten-fails-to-wipe-device set. But my FaceID Unlock Screen is grey, with line-drawing-esque graphics showing the Unlock in progress. Her phone, however, has swirling colors, reminiscent of Siri for her Unlock in progress. I can't find anything online about this (Google is overwhelmed with FaceID apocalypse articles). Anyone have any ideas? [link] [comments]  |

| iPhone 7 Plus flash not working when cold Posted: 25 Jan 2018 12:53 PM PST I know there were issues with flash not working when it was cold on iPhone X, 8 and 8 Plus but my iPhone 7 Plus seems like having this problem too. When it's cold outside, my flash stops working after few shots. Sometimes it just slightly flashes. Interesting thing is that when I turn the flashlight from control center on, it works even on the highest brightness. Is there someone with the same issue? [link] [comments]  |
| Camera won't take pictures, front camera doesn't work. iPhone 7+ Posted: 25 Jan 2018 12:22 PM PST I've been having this problem for the last few months, and have tried various things. Hard resetting being the main thing. Today I finally got frustrated enough to factory reset my phone thinking that it would fix it. Sadly, the problem is still prevalent. Every time I open my camera, my rear facing camera functions, but won't actually capture pictures. I press the snap button, the bottom left preview window will turn black for a few seconds, then doesn't save the picture I just told it to take. Then, when I switch to my front camera, it either becomes a blurred version of the image on the rear camera, or captures a single frame from the front camera and has purple lines all over it. The only way I can take pictures is through snapchat, and even then only my rear camera works. Front camera has the same issues in the snapchat app. What can I do, if anything? | Phone's been resetting for 3 hours and counting Posted: 25 Jan 2018 12:08 PM PST My phone was glitching out a ton (camera wasn't working, phantom clicks, couldn't call or receive calls from anyone) so I tried to restart it. It was stuck on the black background with a white apple in the middle for 15 minutes so I sent it into recovery mode. It didn't help at all, and it's just back to the white apple logo again. | Locking out of OS as soon as an iPhone is connected to computer Posted: 25 Jan 2018 11:28 AM PST Plugging in an iPhone 7 (11.2.5) into computer running Fedora 27 is causing the computer to freeze a little and then immediate lock the user out. Reentering credentials prompts yet another login screen. Imagine being stuck in a loop. Disconnecting the phone from the usb cable solves the issue instantly. | Music app broken. Music gone. Resynced and broke again. Posted: 25 Jan 2018 05:15 AM PST Yesterday I go to open the music app before I head to work. What it did was crash as soon as I attempted to open it. I force close the app and try again with no success. I then restart the phone and when the music app it launched everything is gone. I check the settings and it is obvious my music is still on the phone but the music app must has corrupted its database. So last night I do my usual process to sync music. After 3 hours of syncing 5500 tracks I go to open the music app and it crashes again. It does it several times before it actually opens. I see all of my music on there so I assume everything is good. I even test out playing some. I get in the vehicle today and the same thing happens. The apps crashes and I restart the phone and all of the music is gone again. It is bad enough that the music converter to make the songs 256Kbps does not work all of the time and end up with corrupt songs which never play. Last thing I want to do is spend another 3 hours syncing music. What can I do to make sure it syncs correctly next time? [link] [comments]  |
| Reset iPhone 4 now it won't activate Posted: 25 Jan 2018 05:35 AM PST Found my old iPhone 4 and decided to do a fresh reboot on it. Went fine until I got to the activation phase and after choosing my language and WiFi connection I get an "Activation Error". I then plugged it into iTunes to reinstall that way but once it's done iTunes says it can't activate the phone and I'm stuck with the same problem. I don't have an active sim card I can use to try it and don't know what else to do. I called customer care and they told me it's too old for them to help me with.
