| Hotspot speed suck bigtime after updating to 11.2.2 Posted: 16 Jan 2018 09:42 PM PST So I had a data plan (10gb I think) and I moved to an area with really shitty internet, so I've been using my phone as a hotspot to access the internet via my laptop. It was actually surprisingly fast. i did internet speed tests and was getting 9 mbps down and 1.5 up. I mean, I know that sucks, but it was faster than I expected, and it's fast enough to browse reddit and even youtube smoothly. Anyways, I did 2 things, I updated to 11.2.2 and I upgraded my data plan to unlimited cause I was eating up all the data this way. Not my speed sucks bad. I get like .85 mbps down and .25 up. I have rebooted phone and laptop. I have reset network settings on phone, but it still sucks. Any advice? thanks! [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 16 Jan 2018 08:34 PM PST Hello, iPhone 7+ 128GB Verizon iOS 10.3.1 Pioneer AVH1330NEX Radio I have the phone plugged in via USB, and connected via Bluetooth. I am running Apple Maps for ETA, and listening to HDRadio (over the air broadcast from local stations), and have the backup cam on screen most of the time. When I switch to a non-CarPlay app on my phone such as Google Maps, Google Chrome, or click a link in the Facebook App, the head unit kicks me out of HDRadio, and changes to iPod mode, even though I have no audio playing from the phone. | Need help making pop up fully visible Posted: 16 Jan 2018 07:18 PM PST Trying to access this site - is there a way to force a pop up to center itself on an iPhone screen? http://www.unionhorse.com/uhd-reserve-straight-bourbon-whiskey/ But the age verification pop up cuts off at the bottom, which means I can enter the info but i can't hit the submit button. Is there a workaround for this? I can drag the bottom part up but it returns to the original cut off position when I lift my finger. Trying to zoom out doesn't help either. [link] [comments]  |
| Multiple Problems with iPhone (Videos, Facetime, Calls) Posted: 16 Jan 2018 06:26 PM PST Hello, So my phone is an iPhone 7 Plus running on the latest update (11.2.2) My audio has been working on and off for the past few days. I would connect calls but it would be completely silent. I wouldn't be able to hear them and they wouldn't hear me. When I hang up my phone would temporarily freeze and then go back to normal, but be slow. This also is affecting my facetime calls. It would show me as a black screen and then it would disconnect. What's even more strange is that its even affecting my video function (Snapchat included). I would click record and it would freeze at 0 and then stop working. Eventually it would work but it mostly screws up as of late. I turned off and did hard resets and it would take FOREVER to boot up my phone (like 5 minutes one time), and even removed my SIM card. None of that worked. Anybody have or had this problem? I'm not sure if its a hardware problem or a bug in the new IOS, or if someone is fucking with my phone lol. Thanks for reading. | Posted: 16 Jan 2018 06:14 PM PST I switched jobs this week and I was getting calendar notifications from an old email account. (meetings, notifcations, etc.) I removed that email from my calendar and email options. Next thing I know I have lost half my contacts in my phone. A lot are showing up as 'maybe' Joe Smith if they reach out to me. I can text these people however, and their name shows up when I start to type it into the name field when sending a text. Is there anyway to restore all these contacts I've lost? iPhone 7 user here. Thank you!!! I'm losing my mind trying to fix this. [link] [comments]  |
| Need help with iPhone 6 Plus touchscreen Posted: 16 Jan 2018 03:35 PM PST For about a week, my touchscreen would work about 25% of the time. I thought it was a latency issue, but the home screen would function just fine. I just had to wait until the screen started working again in order to do anything. But then today, I noticed the touchscreen works perfectly when I disconnect from wifi. I'm stumped. Any ideas? [link] [comments]  |
| Loud vibration when plugging in Iphone 8 Posted: 16 Jan 2018 10:18 AM PST I have an Iphone 8, IOS 11.2.2. I just noticed this happeneing about 10 minutes ago. When my phone in it makes a loud vibration. It doesn't seem normal. I haven't had a lot of time to troubleshoot but I wanted to ask in case there is something wrong. I don't wanna keep messing with it if this is bad. I also noticed that my circle button had a different vibration. I went back to the home button settings and set it back to a lower vibration which worked but didn't stop the vibration when plugging in. I can provide more info if needed. I would mostly like to know if anybody else has had this happen or if it's normal. [link] [comments]  |
